This is Randy, no I would never name a cat Randy. We call him RandyRay just because it fits his personality better. RandyRay is sweet… to people. He has been neutered and vaxxed but, RandyRay is from the wrong side of the tracks and wants to fight! The other cats, the dog or whatever crosses his path. I brought RR home once already because of his fighting. He is “feral” meaning he just showed up at the barn one day. Stayed there a couple of months but once he took a couple of chunks of fur out of the female cats the barn owner doesn’t want him around. I completely understand that.

I brought RRay once home already and he made the two mile trek back to the barn. And, once again started fighting the female cats. So, RRay is back here.

We were hoping since he has been neutered now he would chill out some. Not so much. He scared the crap out of poor lil Puddin this morning. He is pretty skinny from his sojourn through the woods so I am hoping once he realizes there’s not a food shortage maybe he will understand he does have to fight anymore. Or maybe he’s just an asshole!

He sure looks sweet in the picture! I’m sure he’s not a deep-down asshole, and will come around to niceness under your tutelage.

He is very sweet. Loves belly rubs. I hope we can come to terms. He is in the bedroom by himself for a few days and we have been letting him out a little at a time hoping to get him used to things. Last time I let him outside because he’s a barn cat but that’s when he ran back to the barn two miles down the road.

Apparently he is quite happy sleeping on the spare bed with all the food and water he wants and he knew what to do with the litter box.

I really would like to save him.

Sounds like it’s maybe going pretty well! I’ll be pulling for him!

It’s getting cooler now, so this kitty moves more into snuggle-mode.

We had the baby gates up to keep Cairo out of gen pop because she was on some meds but we were doing something in the front room, with all dogs locked out, but then suddenly Lily was in the room! I figured out what she did so I had to get it on video

I would rename him Wuzzy. Like Fuzzy Wuzzy. This would transform to Wuzzy-woo-woo, woo-woo kitty, kitty wuzums and various other warm cuddly sounds. Then I’d give him catnip and we’d watch Ren & Stimpy.

Sounds really long term, but all told, probably take about 10 minutes.

Some sad stuff on my end. The neighbor had his dog off leash behind in the lake area behind my fence. It came up to the fence which caused Lily and Cairo to get in a fight. As they were both jumping, Lily got knocked backwards, fell, and caught her head on the corner of the fence post. She split the only the skin on her face. I’m ever so thankful I had called my vet school neighbor and she was able to drive us to the colleges emergency vet. I was so panicked, I couldn’t drive and was about to throw up. Mainly because I didn’t know how bad it was. Luckily, she literally just split the skin! So now she is in a cone of shame until the stitched are ready to come out

I don’t know what is worse, the cone or the big old bald spot. Poor girl. I’m very glad she is ok.

If you ask her, it’s the cone
