My little flock of assholes… well all except for the turkeys. Luke and Percy. They are sweet as sugar  (I lost one turkey, he injured his leg and couldn’t recover :sob:)

So this image I posted upthread has won a regional cutest dog contest on social media. The Queen of The Dog Park shall receive a free professional photoshoot at one of New England’s finest dog photography studios.

Her cutest image from that shoot will be then be entered into the next tier of competition, which I predict she will totally dominate.

She swishes her tail relentlessly when we’re walking and cars will slow down to look on a regular basis. The neighborhood kids all love her. So do some of the adults, who occasionally come out to say hi when I’m walking past. The mutt just oozes cute and she’s been a fantastic dog. Lots of shedding though.

I’m not sure what kind of dog she is. My step son brought her home from parts unknown after a night of very heavy drinking. After confirming she wasn’t stolen but given to him willingly, she stayed.

I suspect she’s a Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) and some kind of terrier, maybe a Wheaten. Her behavior is very much like a cattle dog plus she’s definitely got ratting instincts. She got a mouse in a field this past winter.

He looks like a super good boy.

I think Dobermans got a bad rap from the Damien: The Omen movies.

So majestic! (Second pic, lol.)

what has 4 legs and one arm?

A doberman on a kinder playground

Buttons’ eyes are getting really cloudy, so in addition to being deaf she’s become very nearsighted, but she still does a bouncy dance when we put on hiking shoes and grab our packs to go hiking.

Sorry to hear that. It’s so hard when we lose them.

Sorry to hear that. Dobies are super good companions.

Yeah they are. My brother had 2 of them over the years. Wonderful companions.
