Buttons and I are doing the T-ransformation Challenge. It’s only been two weeks, but here is a progress update.
Starting picture: Buttons on December 26th, which was our “Second Christmas.” She had several days of various companies (our family), culminating in this 11-person, 3 dog event during which along with a LOT of dog cookies every single person engaged in a battle with Nerf Weaponry. There were 3 dog pee-pee accidents, attributed to stress, none thought to have been committed by Buttons. Deaf comes in handy, I guess?
Two weeks into better behavior, and we’re starting to perk up.
Famous last words; “and yet, here we are!”
She’s pretty! How old?
I don’t know, probably 6-8 months or so. It’s stupid mama left them here this summer. It is a feral cat
Tore the screen up, come on the porch, and made itself at home. Now, it thinks it’s a lap cat.
Well, then, that’s it! Sounds like you’ve been adopted! ![]()
That’s just what I need, another vet bill ![]()
Yep. You’re that kittys human now.
Another formerly suffering creature who as of now will live a life of comfort and belonging.
Although I can’t help but note the non-binary language. Are…they…alternate-lifestyle types? ![]()
Edit: are you going vegan?
Lol. No, I’m just not sure if it’s a he or she. I am not a cat person and can’t ever tell until the dingle balls come out. Not to mention, I really didn’t want to get attached to it. I have been trying to find it furever home. I call it Bitsy, ya know, because it was tiny. There are 3 more ![]()
The white one w/ black spots it pretty sweet too. The biggest one I call Bubba. The white and tabby one… is just ASSHOLE!
Definitely not going vegan. I have a big pot of Nilgia (South Texas Antelope) chili on the stove as we speak.
This one is mama’s good boi.
Came to me the same way these did, different mama cat.
They know. They’re over in the brush going “Every day at 5:30 she goes from the house to the shed. When she comes back, limp out across the yard and look skyward like a hawk migh be circling.”.
They totally know, lol.
This is our new boy, Doug.
We have three black cats now, and they all follow me around. I don’t know what that means.
A cat whisperer, haha.
I think that means you’re a wizard!
Much better than my blackened heart having cancer… I’ll take it!
Kipper made his first appearance in one of our MD Protein TikTok vids and now he’s insufferable. Always talking about his “content” and starting every conversation with “Everyone has been asking me about…” Also changed his bio to “influencer” and says “smash that like button!!!” every time he takes a shit. Ug.
