Another beauty (of sorts), and also not mine, but to unique Not to share.

I have to say that I feel a little sad for animals that have obviously been bred for “human” reasons, if that makes sense.

Sure it does. I’m not certain of his story, but I was told he was 8 in this picture and very talkative/vocal…even for a Sphynxy cat.

I wasn’t looking for another dog since Hudley crossed the bridge so soon. BUT…

Here she is. Her person has alzheimer’s and nobody else wanted her because she is around 8 yo. EXTREMELY sweet and smart. We have only had for a few days and she has already figured out the routine. Definitely overweight but her owner was confused. She is perfect!

I also didn’t think I’d want a new dog so quickly but I couldn’t stand a dogless house.

It looks as if she’s landed on her feet with you.

Aw, she looks like such a good girl! What’s her name?

I agree with @ouroboro_s, she’s found a good place to land, though I’m sorry illness necessitated the change.

It’s obvious from the two pictures that she already trusts and loves you guys! Definitely a lot of intelligence in those eyes. :+1:

Her real name is Margie, we have just been calling her Punkin Butt. She doesn’t seem to care either way, just don’t call her late for dinner.

Yes, she definitely misses her person. She is a real lap dog.

When my stepdaughter was here for Christmas she scolded me for calling Buttons Butt-Butt and Pumpkin Head (“she does NOT have a pumpkin head!”). I mostly stick with Buttons and Pumpkin Head, but Butt-Butt shows up when I’m trying to get her excited (“come one, run run run!”). She seems happy with any of them, but of course she’s mostly deaf, lol.

Ashley is 1.75 years old and every bit as smart, trainable, and ornery as a teenage Shepherd ought to be. Of my four dogs, she’s the only one that likes posing for pictures.

I like the straight back.
That slopping rear hip look seems wrong anatomically.

Last post, best post.

Cookie in her favorite fleece sweater. She constantly gets compliments from strangers when she wears it out on a walk.

One year later… He’s growing up so well

I swear he does act like a normal cat sometimes.

This is him literally minutes after the first video :joy:
