Can’t
that enough. ![]()
I was driving home with my gf and, at the edge of the street near a roundabout, we saw a stray cat. I stopped to take a look and… It mustn’t have been stray! He was friendly, approached us, he looked relatively clean, and didn’t have the sign on his ear from when they get neutered.
That place was near the end of a highway and no houses around for at least two miles. It’s not a place where people live, there’s just a cemetery. Somebody must’ve abandoned him.
I couldn’t leave him there. He would have died.
So my gf and I picked him up and brought him home. ![]()
It took him very short to relax and start purring and all that. I’ll take him to the vet on Monday. I’m SO happy ![]()

Congratulations! It looks like that cat is going to have a very nice life!
KITTY!!!
That is a very loud purr
There’s Buttons! She looks pretty happy to me.
I feel so bad for the kitty. Apparently the optimal temperature for cats is 20 degrees higher than for humans
Here’s Shadow chilling laying in the snow while I work out in my garage.

And here’s Shadow after winning Friday’s round of ‘how far can the squirrels safely get from the trees before Shadow catches them’.
That’s one pretty puppy!
Nvm guys, we found his owner. But at least he has two brothers and he’s now reunited with them. I’m glad I was able to keep an eye on him until we brought him back to his owner.
He’s an absolutely adorable kitten. Turns out he’s not even a year old!
Nice Newfie and Rottie! How old are they?
Newfie is 3 and Rottie is 2! thank you and they are really good dogs!
You’re welcome! They do look like great dogs.
Anyone here familiar with what’s needed to bring a dog in from Asia to the USA?
It’s a big dog. Labrador/Golden mix, in case you’re gonna ask
Can’t help without photos, sorry.
Buttons continues to become more and more herself, though last week our neighbor’s son and grandchildren showed up in their backyard, and Buttons barked, started shaking, then spent two days giving the whole two acre place the hairy eyeball. Still, it was her first non-nightmare bark and as such, very exciting.
