I did shoulders about 4 days ago, and I noticed my right shoulder was hurting when I did the rotator cuff exercise on the cable machine (pushing the weight away from my body). I believe I hurt it while doing front raises maybe even side raises…
Could this be my rotator cuff or my front delt?..The pain is right above the armpit, like where the bicep meets the shoulder and continues half way up the shoulder. What are the best steps to take in order to get my shoulder feeling 100%, I dont want to injure it even more. Any tips would be appreciated.
Ice the area for 10-15 minutes, every hour if possible. Take some ibuprofen (as long as you aren’t on any other meds…yada yada…and don’t do anything to reinjure it.
Trust me, Go see a qualified ortho. Shoulder injuries are a total bitch and you will likely make whatever is hurting now worse. Unless you are older you likely did not tear your rotator cuf.
