Shoulder Imbalance - Overdeveloped Muscle

Are they?

Alright, I tried a couple of spots for soft tissue work ( around mid / upper back ) but without luck until I went to the gym today.I rested over this thing attached to the pulley machine.The pain was intense (bout 6-7/10) in the area highlighted.Its weird because it doesn’t hurt in any other place, just in that little spot specifically, can it be a trigger point ?
What muscles are there ?
Does this mean something ?
I tried taking the photo so that you can see exactly what muscles are squashed.

update. After laying on a tennis ball for like 5 minutes with it on the area circled I started having this nagging pain in my biceps that runs up into my shoulder and one that is in the area circled.

That tennis ball thing is wrong.

You really should seek the help of a physical therapist or soft tissue specialist that works on athletes.

agreed. It doesn’t sound like you know how to do soft tissue work on yourself, and you’re not taking the time to read more on how you should approach working on yourself. You don’t just ‘lay on a tennis ball for 5 minutes’, lol. See a physical therapist, I’m fairly certain you’re not going to get better on your own.
