I am of the frame of mind that the government should not pass laws to protect people from them selves, because it is an extremly subjective process, alcohol is satistically more leathal than THC, you can get viagra without perscription but not steriods, it is easier to quit heroine than smoking ect ect ect. If you want to do somthing that could hurt you then go for it its your own buisness and your own problem
Darwinism.

Imagine if roids were legal. How many of these jerks would end up in the hospital because they toke orals for a year straight. How many of them would even do pct, or even get off. How many would develop arthritis from taking winni months? No they are too strong and most people would never even educate themselves how to take them correctly.
Ask any fat chick what’s in her “diet pills”? 99% of the time they have no idea. They don’t know what’s in it, how it works, if they should cycle, etc? no way man.

Then that is their fault, since they didn’t educate themselves. They’re the ones who will end up with liver damage, not me or you.
More people abuse prescription drugs and more people die from their side effects. How is that any different?
Look at how many people died on Vioxx before it was banned.
Now matter how many supplements, pills,or drugs they ban there will always be ACCOUNTABILITY.
Look how many people drink and drive.
Maybe they should ban alcohol too.

Booze, cigarettes, and fast food is legal. They account for close to a million premature deaths a year. Some clown blows his liver out on orals, it’s one less clown in the breeding pool dumbing down the nation.
Yes they should be and then regulate them, a doctor can perscribe them and then check a person’s blood lipids cholesterol etc. the morons who overuse them are the same morons who would overuse regardless of legality
No. The sad fact is that the masses can’t handle roids…
Anyway, while I don’t have any experience to speak of, it appears to me that the legality of steroids is not really that much of a barrier for people who are serious about using them.
Ah hell, I cant write about this! To much boobala. Plus, im an opponent of steroids!
Hmm… thanks for the info that yall givin though

Exactly.
I would take a quick look online to find out in which countries they are legal and then make an argument based on the “success” stories of those countries extrapolated to the U.S.

Are you serious (I can’t tell if I am missing sarcasm)? That is ironic, isn’t that what is happen now that they are illegal. You have people getting steroids that could obviously be fakes/hazardous from shady individuals. You have a ton of people now who don’t know what the hell they are doing and could careless.
Government banning has never worked. How many people especially in America can “handle” alcohol? Alcohol is a far bigger problem, and for the record THC itself is non-lethal.
The same rings true for Marijuana especially the most scapegoated substance in existence, I am sure if the government taxed it…it would be A ok.
There shouldn’t be a ban but instead open business with obvious controls and regulations such as having to be certain age and/or pass a physical.
Not only this but Steroids are hardly an epidemic or a “death” issue. You usually hear this from the moronic sheep who know very little or choose not to know. Who has died from steroid use only? I am not talking about the diuretics and HGH and countless over non-steroid substances being used. You will often hear people bring up the use of oral steroids as a scapegoat also.
If instead of being harped on and misjudged with an open market with regulation correct information is handed down. This same correct information keeps you from overdosing on the myriad of prescription drugs and over the counter drugs that line the cabinets of people’s houses.
“What if aspirin is made legal, then everyone will be taking like 40 a day and dying”.
I have always found it to be massively hipocritical to make steroids illegal and then let Botox run rampant. The desire to be big is no different than the desire to be smooth.
Yes

Important: Note that even the vaunted American Medical Association and even the DEA did not want them scheduled, but the grandstanding ignorant, publicity seeking politicians supressed the facts and did it anyway(“For the children”)…This is a significant point not to be missed…
My belief is this…
You should be free to pursue your goals, ideals, or path to happiness in any way you see fit…through any activity, or any substance of your choosing. The only restriction being that your activities do not negatively affect the freedoms, or the quality of life of others.
If that is not reason enough for legalization then do some research on actual scientific data stating without a doubt that doing steroids will not kill your momma, rape your dog, and cause global warming.
Good luck!

Yes, because we all know how well that worked last time…
Non-user chiming in–I’ve always found it hypocritical how they make steroids illegal and then allow 13 year old girls on daily estrogen pills…BC pills are steroids, just not the evil, Testosterone producing ones. Legalize them, allow Dr’s to more easily prescribe them, and keep the crappy fakes/dangerous stuff to a minimum by doing so. Quality control. The people who will abuse them are probably already abusing them as we speak.
It is true that any banning by the government on things usually doesn’t work. Wasn’t for a time alcohol banned in our history. It was an amendment or something. Look at today, beer companies are so rich that they can afford to take up most of the commercials in the Super Bowl.
Drink driving is illegal yet plenty of people die from it, if it was legal though, wouldn’t the figures be much higher?
Most people obey the laws but you’ll get the 5% that dont. If you were to allow drink driving to be legal, I am sure it will just be opening the floodgate.
