Should I take arimidex if my e2 is 86?

Continuing the discussion from Test e 12 week for 52 yrold:

I think the reason no one has responded is due to statements in the other thread, like surmising that e2 elevation is the reason why you don’t feel like working out.

Whether you decide to take an ai is up to you.

Assuming that the range that you gave us and your actual level are measured in the same units, that e2 number, in a vacuum says that you may want to lower your estrogen level.

There’s nothing wrong with elevated estrogen as long as it’s not out of control or you have symptoms.
What is the range of the tests?
What are your reasons for wanting to lower?

Thanks for the reply. I don’t understand what I said in the other thread that would bother anyone.
I took half of 1mg of arimidex 2 times now . The same time as I took my testE . I’ve been taking .8 of 250 test E every 3 days and .5 arimidex.
But I’m curious if that’s to much. I feel good now .

My recovery got worse than before I started doing anything. Something was off .

That seems very high to me. I know things are different with E levels vs 10 years ago, but for reference my doc anything above 60 is too high. Wouldn’t also indicate much of his T is Aromatase into (could be). Not looking to argue just something too consider in my opinion.

I’ve been taking my test in a smaller dose and every other day and .25 arimidex and I feel better. I felt strong at the gym yesterday

Back in the day they tried to keep e levels in the “normal” range for men. That didn’t work, there were heart attacks, weird bone breaks. The more modern (to my knowledge) is to let e float up while on T. But yours is very high (again my opinion). I would advise caution messing with arimidex. In fact I hope you are doctors care on this. There are many VERY knowledgeable people on this site. I always tried for a consensus of opinions.

Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate it
