I am 28 and had open heart surguryin feb 08 to replace a heart valve everything is healed now and i have gotten back in the gym i have not worked out in about 6 years and i am really pumped to be back i am not big but not puny
either my max bench is around 200 my sternum starts to hurt if i go any higher i also have low t probaly from taking tribulus and dhea in the past either that or my nuts are lazy any way i have been reading everything i can find on here and other places about steroids but wanted to get opinions of vets about what i should do
i dont want anything extreme i thought about just doing test cyp and nothing else except anti est please any advice would help i will post a pic on my profile tomorrow also advice on dosage i was thinking 1 cc a week but not sure
my doctor ran some tests my test level is 137 and he prescirbed me androgel which i have taken for 2 weeks but that just gets u back to normal right? I was thinking i would use the androgel for pct if i did start a cycle

You sound like someone who needs to put a whole lot more research into this.
i am researching that is why i asked for advice i have read alot of the stuff on here and wanted to know if i was on the right track by taking test cyp with the androgel for pct
What is your goal. Do you simply want to bulk up? How do you intend to use the Androgel for PCT? As a test taper? Did you also get your estrogen (E2) level? That can have a big impact on free testosterone, libido, well being, etc.
Androgel on its own will initially increase your test level, then increased aromatization of test to estrogen will raise your E2 level too and probably negate any benefit from the increased test level unless you start a low dose aromatase inhibitor like anastrazole.
The folks here are leary of offering assistance because you have not been clear in what you are attempting to achieve.
my main goal is to just get a better looking body i dont want to get huge just more muscle and just feel better my e2 was not checked. as far as the andro for pct after coming off a cycle test levels drop right so i figured i would start using the gel to get it back up to normal and continue on it untill my next cycle.maybe im wrong i dont know im just trying to get some guidence to do it safely and smart
You have just started train, do it naturally for atleast a year+. Then once you have a good diet down and your working out regularly and you have had some size gains from that start to consider roids. But continue your research, knowledge is power.

If you are going to have access to injectable testosterone and plan to put yourself on TRT, it would probably be wise to just use the injectable for the TRT. If you are happy with the results from androgel, than by all means go with that, but most people on TRT prefer the shots. This info is just from what I’ve read, I have no experience with transitioning from TRT levels to cycle levels.
When you come off the cycle and continue the androgel or test shots at TRT levels there is no actual PCT. This is just to clear up some of the terminology, not to correct a mistake in this area.
Keep reading up on the different possible route(s) you can take to improve your well being. Make sure to do plenty of reading in the Over 35 forum as well as this one.
Edit
I checked your profile and in the ‘years training’ part you wrote “just starting”. Elaborate on that please. Steroid cycles aren’t for people who are just starting.
TRT is different of course.
i have not worked out in 6 years whaen i did i didnt have a real program and did alot of cardio so as far as big gains there were not any after i had surgury i decided i was going to get to the level i always wanted to be at my bench is only around 200 i might could do more but my sternum hurts at that point due to surgury as for trt i have used androgel for 2 weeks not much change which i guess i should give it longer i have read that the gel is not that effective i just want to have the energy i did when i was 18 and a boost in sex drive wouldnt hut either

Stick with a solid training program and good nutrition for a few years before considering a cycle of AAS.
Once the TRT shows its full effects you should make some good gains. Give that some time as well.
I think you can accomplish your goals through TRT. I believe an AI should be added to the mix with the androgel and hCG too if you want to keep the tstes from atrophying. Again “The Over 35 Lifter” is the place to get the info you require. It may take a while of trial and error to get the doses right and get the positive benefits you seek. Don’t get discouraged. Best indicators of successful TRT are strong libido and good clarity of mind. Also increased muscle mass.
I think it is low self esteam too bad you cant inject that, just kidding welshy but stuff like that could discourage some people and we r all here for pretty much the same reason right. I looked at your profile and u seem educated, share your knowledge not your sarcasm (even though it was funny)

Ask Arnold if he would have “juiced” again. I wouldn’t risk it one bit.
