Should I Compete in Physique or Bodybuilding?

Wouldn’t it be best just to grow muscle with training and food alone for now? Then… when that stops introduce something else? It’s not like you’re Jay Cutler getting paid to guest post at nineteen years old!

There is repeated pushback by you (and others on this board) against use of PEDs for a variety of reasons. However, your arguments against them don’t really do much for younger people looking at the short term vs the long term (which younger folks tend to do). In your defense, you do know people that are on the inside of the IFBB, NPC, etc

I think you would be better off iterating pros and cons backed with at least some sort of anecdotal evidence, vs telling people “don’t do it, you haven’t maxed out your natty gains etc” because, to these younger guys you sound like their parents; they immediately disregard your opinion.

Not true^ the reason im not going to use gear is because of the long term affects, I am simply taking a short 8 week cycle of sarms, yes I know it could potentially put me in shut down, which if it does i have stuff for a pct like I have stated previously, maybe if I wouldve talked to yall before I started the cycle, then maybe i wouldnt have started it, but I’ve started now and im going to finish the cycle rather than just up and quit it. After this cycle i will not be taking any others (unless I really like the results from the sarms then i may try another cycle later down the road). I am not going to be taking any aas until atleast 21 at the least (im 18). And notice I said at the least, meaning most likely i will wait longer than that. I appreciate the feedback from everyone and the advice though,

Did you get blood work before the cycle? If not then you may not know what long-term effects are gear related vs your own health.

It is also unfair to say that every bodybuilder that uses gear has significant long term effects (outside of likely being on TRT). There are plenty that have lived full lives just as there are those that have had them cut short.

Either way I’m glad that people here have gotten through to you. Are there people at your local gym(s) that gave you the same advice? I’m guessing you chose sarms for their perceived lack of side effects.
