Should I Buy A MRP?

Well i have been contemplating on buying some muscle milk, up till now i havent used any supplements and i just thought that maybe some protein meal replacment drink might help out, make my gains a little better. but i have been reading on here that it is toxic because of some chemicals.

What do you guys think, i am 17 to though if age could be a concern?

Muscle Milk isn’t really a protein supplement, it is a MRP… It also has a lot of false marketing in it that gives them a free pass to put all kinds of sugar/canola oil in it… You’re 17 years old atm, you really need to focus on getting balanced workouts, eating 4-6 times per day…

If you feel that protein is necessary, I would use the 5lb Grow! Whey from this site (assuming cost is a legitimate factor).

Unless you are much over 190lbs, you should be able to get what you need from food sources alone. You should be making that the priority anyway because if you can’t get enough food down when you are the lightest end of the scale, what do you expect to do if you actually make some real progress?

THe Grow! sounds good i was just condidering getting some general protien, but also something for my friend who wants weight loss, i think i found what i am looking for.

What if you are eating 2 grams of protein per body pound? For me, that’s 340 grams per day, which would be a lot of meat.

Protein supplements are incredibly good at shuttling mass quantities of protein down one’s gullet.
