Shaun Livingston's Knee Injury

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!!

I saw this on SportsCenter last night, and this has to be the most painful way I’ve seen someone tear ligaments in their knee. I can’t bear to watch it again. The team had to take him off in a wheelchair, he couldn’t move. I wish him well in his recovery.

I can’t watch it. I partially tore my acl in HS playing football and injured both knees in a car accident. Every time I see someone f-up a knee, I experience the pain and nausea all over again. I do wish him a safe and speedy recovery.

Yeah, that dislocation was no joke.

A tough break for the youngster, since the Clippers seemed perfectly fine with letting Cassell go in the offseason and letting Livingston run the show next year.

He tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and meniscus. He’s pretty much done. Sad.

I tore all of those ligaments in one shot as well playing basketball, but not like that. I feel bad for him. A young, promising player.

That’s sweet!!! Was this in high school? I’m sure he was ballin all over the place. Did you get a chance to talk to him? He seems like a nice guy.

He should follow Willis McGahee’s recovery/rehab plan.

Plus a complete dislocation of his kneecap.

A doc on ESPN this morning said you could not have a more complete knee injury, he blew out every major support and stabilizer in his knee.

Shudder

holy crap…

I really feel sorry for him also. That’s the worst knee injury you can have. He’s done for the season and possibly for next season as well.

I hope he has good health insurance.

I think they did say 12 months MINIMUM.

McGahee would not be a bad person for this kid to talk to.

Mufasa

I heard 8 months minimum on NBA tv. No matter what, this guy’s got a long road of recovery ahead of him, and I wish him the best.
