'Shatters Workout Log

Waterbury Summer Project

Instead of hibernating like the bear I am, I’ve decided to prepair for summer early.

Day 1. October 10 2006

4X6 @ 8RM

All sets and reps were completed.

Hang Clean: 135 lbs. Good pump, could have done more weight.

Reverse Crunch: Completed

Standing Alt. DB Press: 40 lbs. Ea.
Sharp pain every now and again in my left shoulder after waking up. No pain during training.

1-Arm DB Row: 55 lbs. Just the right amount.

Bulgarian Split Squat: Used the bar, after finding out that my balance wasn’t up to snuff. (Was funny, could have been ugly.)

Single leg Deadlift: 35 lbs. Could have used more weight, but need to work on balance.

Dips: Bodyweight negatives. I’m definately lacking in this area.

DB External Rotation: 30 lbs. Felt awkward, never performed these before.

***Stretched out good, though I really didn’t feel like doing it. I guess that is why CW suggested the “Lazy Man’s Guide to Stretching”.

Day 2. October 11 2006

HIIT

Performed on a treadmill.

90s fast pace walk/30s sprints

First 4 minutes felt like crap until I fell into a groove. It is amazing how much better at running you can be after dropping thirty pounds. Felt good afterward, not gasping for air. Hit the mile mark at minute 15. I’m going to play with the speed a bit and try to improve on that.

Currents Stats Available.

6’4
336 lbs. (Down 8 lbs. since last week.)
I have no other measurements until Saturday when I weight in again.

Thanks in advance for any support.

And thanks CW for the great workout and advice.
