Shane's Over 35 Shenanigans

I think I have a lot of those injuries too but I don’t play any sports. Ha ha…

Still a good looking session. Just time for a deload man. Nothing else to it…

This was about as easy a leg workout as I have ever done. Not even sure I should call it a workout, more like going through the motions.

In all fairness though, I am driving 5.5 hours to the beach on Saturday morning and figured my body would appreciate not having sore legs for the ride.

Liftrunbang would probably still say you did too much. :joy: Nah, that looked solid to me. Way to get after it! Check that surf cam today. Just got out of the water and am glad to be alive honestly…

Heart rate was 10 points higher than usual. That’s what a week worth of drinking beer everyday will get you. :joy:

My watch even let me know my resting heart rate was higher than normal last week. Yep, got it.

I have had trouble recovering from some of recent workouts. Lots of upper body work in a weeks’ time. Going to switch up to a push pull legs for a while and give my body a break to heal up some.

Felt good to hit some light squats without pain.

You see, that’s why I drink beer everyday regardless. So my HR never spikes above normal. :sunglasses: :joy: Nice looking bike ride either way! Solid pace!

Good looking session this morning as well. Lots of higher rep sets and glad to hear that the squats felt OK. I hear you on the recovery time. Since I started isolating muscle groups I’ve noticed a lot of aches and pains that weren’t there before. Might need to switch back to a full body routine.

Awesome beach pics! Looking swole! I see in that second photo you had to start carrying a stick to fight the ladies off with. :sunglasses: Good looking section of coast there. :+1:t2:

Haha. I hear you on the beer man! Yeah, I think the separation of shoulders and chest, and the additional work that goes into having extra sets for each body part has begun to add up. Just taking away and extra day of lifting lowers the volume as well.

LoL. Thanks man. That stick is a net. We were some crab catching fools this year.
