That’s it. Going to have to play with good mornings for a while.
I think I like the straight bar better than the SSB. After taking video of my 225 set I am going to drop weight as I don’t feel like I am hitting depth.
Going to watch some training videos on YouTube and see what they say though.
Took my son fishing last night. We almost caught two big fish. One was a catfish that was a good 6 to 8 pounds that I reeled into the dock using my son’s Minecraft fishing pole , but lost trying to get him on the dock, line broke. Other one my drag was too tight on my line and after a quick hard bend of my rod, and a little line going out it quickly snapped me off. Must have been big. Needless to say, we are going to Walmart today to get a net and I am bringing my catfish pole next time.
Just catching up in here after logging off all week on vacation. Very strong work on Box Squat and Smith Incline. Solid work on the Peloton, as always. That Hack Squat machine looks sweet! As for the Good Mornings, I’m hardly a form expert on that lift so I will save my comments. My lower back could never tolerate that lift… Sounds like a fun day of fishing with your son! Maybe it’s time to get some stronger fishing line. Hope you and yours have a wonderful Easter!
Thanks Trent. Yeah idk how long I am going to keep the good mornings in either. They are kind of like front squats, I am sure they have some benefit, but they are not much fun to do.
10-4 on the line. I will probably need to convince my son to use something other than his Minecraft pole too.
Solid session this morning Shane! Super heavy on rack pulls and belt squats! And everything else, honestly. I wanted to do belt squats this morning too but didn’t feel like assembling the belt squat thing (moment of laziness…). Glad you guys heard a good sermon on Easter. I didn’t realize you went to Andy Stanley’s church? I started my christian walk watching his dad’s sermons several years ago. Many of those messages stick with me to this day. We have heeded his advice in carefully choosing the churches that we have attended since then.
