Nice work on the Peloton Shane! Can’t go wrong burning that many calories in 30 minutes. I can’t wait to see how your watch estimates calories.

Yeah, I can’t wait to see how the Apple Watch handles it. My older watch, which I am wearing since my newer one broke, seems to register my heart rate lower than my newer watch was doing. This obviously gave me a lower cal burn yesterday. I am really curious to see which one is right.

Nice job yesterday Shane. Good job yesterday and on the Peloton. Nice to see some box squats and nice and heavy on the OHP and Pendlays. RDL’s were strong too.

Ha ha, yeah. Looking forward to the “Toilet Bowl” today. Should be a sh!t show. May the worse team be narrowly defeated! :joy:

Decent day. Bench press went ok. Leg press I got a twinge in my left knee on my opposite meniscus that was repaired. Knee wasn’t happy when I got back to work. It’s popping and feeling more loose than usual if that makes sense. LoL. Hopefully it’s nothing.

Good work today Shane. Looks like it was international legs/bench day. Love those bench numbers, as always. Sorry to hear about the knee pain. My guess is that it will pass. Just oldness being worked out. :joy:

Got my new Apple Watch. Thing is definitely slick.

Calorie burn is about what my Garmin showed. It is neat how it separates the active vs total calorie burn.

Thing has more gizmos on it than it needs but I like it a lot.

Congrats Shane! They must have flown that thing through space to get it there early. :joy: Yeah, the active calories vs. total calories was a strange thing for me. I usually just document the total calories in my workouts as, well, that’s how many calories I supposedly burned. At the end of the day, it is all an estimate. It’s a cool gizmo, that’s for sure. One of my favorite features is switching songs on Spotify, etc. while streaming music through my phone or laptop to a bluetooth speaker. It’s cool to be sitting on the porch or out in the yard and just switch the song from your watch. I do that a lot while I’m driving too. More convenient than finding the buttons on the dash or steering wheel. (First world problems ) Have fun with it!

Thank you Trent. I really like it. Definitely a step up from my Garmin. I am still learning everything on it.

The transition from phone to watch for entertainment like music, podcasts etc as you mentioned is seem less though. Really cool. :sunglasses:
