Here’s an idea that I had today that I wanted to share. Perhaps not the best for you, but I will definitely have to try it and share. Its a dessert and very simple to make.

Ingredients:
One container of Lite Cool Whip (thawed)
A package of baker’s chocolate
Low-Carb Grow! Strawberry and Banana
Classic Grow! Vanilla
Water
Graham crackers

You can use whatever size pan you desire, I suggest a glass 9 x 9 baking dish with a 2" depth.

The idea is to make something like an eclair dessert.

Begin by putting half of the package of baker’s chocolate in a pan and warm with a medium heat. While heating, in a plastic bag, crush up a package of graham crackers to make crumbs. Line the bottom of the 9 x 9 dish with the crumbs you have and press (perhaps with the bottom of a glass) to make a crust. With your now heated chocolate, pour a thin layer of chocolate over the crumbs. You should still have plenty of chocolate in the pan, keep it on a very low heat. Now put the 9 x 9 dish in the freezer.

You want to cool the next few layers just enough that they are firm, not neccasarily frozen.

Make sure to have two glasses ready. One scoop of strawberry and vanilla in one glass, one scoop of banana and vanilla in the other. Or use a blender if you wish but make sure they are seperate. Add enough water to each to make it to a very thick consistancy.

Here’s the sum up of the receipe. You’ll get the now frozen pan out of the freezer (perhaps 10 - 20 mins) and begin to “paint” on layers.
Strawberry - Freeze
Cool whip - Freeze
Chocolate - Freeze
Banana - Freeze
Cool Whip - Freeze
Chocolate - Freeze

Repeat as your heart desires. You probably wont have to freeze between each step for very long, 5 - 10 mins. You may want to try and cool down everything as much as you can before pouring like ice in the protein shake part.

This may seem very time consuming. However, if you’re in the kitchen already preparing lunches for that week, it really isnt a big deal. Sometimes I can spend 20 minutes just washing, drying, and chopping lettuce and spinach for the week.

Fisherman In an Orange Grove

16-18 oz Water
1 can chunk light tuna
2 scoops Orange Cream Low-Carb Grow!
1 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 orange segments

Yeah it sounds weird, but you can’t taste the tuna-- and the consistency is much like blended orange pulp so that doesn’t throw you off either. Just quality fish and quality protein.

I’ve recently bought my first jar of Grow! and I went with the banana cream flavor.

Once recipe that I loved was to mix it in with some orange juice and frozen strawberries. The berries made it nice and cold. Great after a hard workout.

Another great recipe was to mix it with whole milk and a handful of Walnuts maybe a little fresh banana. Tasted just like banana nut bread.

Those are my two concoctions. give em a try!

Awe comeon! Thats frickin’ disgusting brother.

Amir

P.S Now if you threw some mayo in there I could see a smoother taste developing…

Here is mine, I use this pre/post workout sometimes. It is also good any other time for that matter.

  1. Two-Three scoops of Low-Carb Grow! (I use Chocolate, but it will work with any flavor).

  2. One scoop (comes with Grow!)of Flax seed.

  3. One scoop of Wheat Germ

  4. One handful of Blueberries (add to touch).

  5. Couple of tablespoons of Peanut Butter.

  6. Couple handfuls of Ice cubes.

  7. Fill blender with cold Green Tea instead of water.

  8. (Optional) One scoop of stone-ground Oatmeal (uncooked).

This makes a great power shake!

Great Job Owen70…you’ve got my vote

Strawberry Cheesecake

1-2 Scoops Strawberry Low-Carb Grow!
1 cup Hood LC Milk (FF or 2%)
1 Low Fat Cinnamon Graham Cracker
2 tbsp. Jell-O Sugar/Fat Free Cheesecake Flavor Pudding
1/2 cup Ice

Blend. Enjoy. Thank me later.

Maybe I’m missing something, but doesn’t adding chocolate, sugar, wine, etc. defeat the purpose of drinking Grow!? Why don’t you just have a milkshake and stop kidding yourselves?

Grow! Apple dip

I eat this concoction at LEAST twice a day.

Start out with an apple of choice, cut it into slices and put slices into a freezer bag. Then dump 2 packets of splenda in and a generous amount of cinnamon. Shake bag vigorously and toss into freezer for the moment.

In a Bowl add anywhere from 1/2 to 1 cup of oats , add just enough water or skim milk to moisten the oats and microwave for 1 minute. Once oats are done add a serving of frozen fruit of choice (strawberrys great with straw. Grow!, blueberries great with chocolate, etc)and stir well to thaw the fruit and cool the oats. Next add 3/4 cup of ff cottage cheese and stir well(an additional spoonfull of ff yogurt is optional) Last comes the scoop of Grow!(flavor of choice) and stir well. Pull the bag of chilled cinnamon apples out of the freezer and place them onto a plate on the side. Then using a spoon, slather the thick mixture onto the apples and ENJOY!!!

(finishing touch options are to add a drizzle of sugar-free syrup on top or an additional packet of splenda)

This is by far my FAVORITE p+c meal that is delicious and insanely easy to prepare!

I constantly am creating new variations by altering the frozen fruit+ Grow! combinations and on occasion will substitute a whole grain cereal for the oats to add a nice crunch)

TRY IT!! ENJOY!
