Regular is fine. Nothing that gives me extra strength in the hole though.
Otherwise just a pair of knee sleeves and a belt when I get one. Probably wrist wraps as well if they’re allowed.

Diet wise I’m going to try something new. I’m going to follow the anabolic diet to see how my body reacts to that. At the same time I’ll up my calories a bit.
Yes yes yes very nice squat and damn you making my 1rm look so light at a lighter bodyweight. You have a lot more in you with that quality of form and bar speed, it’s just how much you want it with squats…
I don’t completely agree that it’s looking “so light”, just look at my strain face.
In other news I’m considering switching to another gym. There’s a pure powerlifting/weightlifting gym in town with loads of strong guys. Many of them much closer to my age.
I’ll definitely go for a tryout sometime soon.
I went for a long walk today so I guess that classifies as cardio. I have a forest nearby and I wanted to see how big it was so I ended up walking for an hour. I might even start doing that daily when I’m done with exams.
I even ran into a deer so it totally felt like home.

The highest I’ve done before is a triple with 120kg, so the 130kg were only a PR because I’ve never tried it before.
Yeah the squatting part of the lift is no problem. The problem is keeping proper bar positioning and the OMGIMGONNADIE feeling I get when I unrack the bar.
Just seen the vid… Made it look easy man! Weight flew up.
I find unracking really easy, but when I try to draw breath just before decent is horrible. Might just try holding my breath the whole time and hope I don’t pass out.
