seems like you should be able to pull more though:)
You’d think.
I’m working on it. It’s just the angles and my lower back injury. I’m not using that as an excuse, but I’m extremely conservative on DL’s and squats to some extent. I think I would progress faster if I were more agressive but it’s part injury management and a lot of mental management.
A. Your picture looks scary, I half expected to see a video of a ransom demand attached to it.
B. Your workouts look extremely difficult (lots of reps) I have no idea how you actually complete them (I would just walk away)
C. I feel your pain with squats and pulling, as a back surgery recipient I can honestly say that it’s hard to overcome that fear that you are about to seriously fuck something up, best advice, take it slow and steady (so I can catch your weights) and listen to your back, it will not lie to you.

HA! Thanks-- I meant ‘heavy-ish’ only in comparison to the real weight some of the folks here pull. My DL is like their warmups It was definitely heavy for me!
I tell myself that those guys are so big they have their own gravitational field that makes the lifts easier for them…
fuck that - my deadlift is like their warm-up too…
Lots of work there, Steely. As always, impressive.
DB shoulder presses look really strong.
Wish I could have a live tree. My wife and daughter are both allergic to them.
Thanks!
They’re a pain in the ass. They take up the whole living room and drop needles all over, plus sappy. And you have to keep watering them. Then you have to get rid of it somehow.
Great work in here, SteelyD. I love the smell of a Christmas tree in the house. It does make nervous how fast and hot they burn in the back yard after the seasons over, however.

They do make the house smell purty though ;)
We always had one when I was growing up. We had then up until about 3 years ago. That’s when the allergies got really bad. I think they are less allergic to the firs, though…like Douglas Fir, as opposed to the pines.
Next year, they may just have to suffer through Christmas. I want a live tree, though…in a pot. So I can plant it afterwards.
