Hmm, I think I may have sent the spandex to the round file… ;)
Here’s another, maybe a year or so later. You can tell I’m older because my hair is longer and I have some hair on my chest… LMAO!!
I don’t have any of the clothes anymore, but I still have the yellow guitar.
Hair metal band? cool.
LOL. Yeah, sort of. We actually played stuff heavier than the mainstream ‘hair bands’ at the time, although I admit that’s not obvious at first glance ![]()

Great. You benched what I squated yesterday. FML.
Thats nice benching but its the DB presses that really caught my eye. It must be hard to get those 120’s into position.

Thanks JG.
Well, I can’t get anything above the 100’s into position for inclines and shoulder presses because my short chubby legs and tiny t-rex arms-- I can’t get the momentum.
I get one into position then have someone hand me the other one (usually the left one). No problems with flat presses though-- I just rock back

That’s how I feel every time I read MMeat’s log!!! FML, too!! ![]()

I had a pair of parachute pants! They provided balance to the spandex. It was like fashion karma in the 80’s.
Great work, Steely. You numbers just keep going up, no matter what is going on.
Great pics. You definitely look the part. Any of it ever get recorded? You know…on a reel to reel.
You could digitize it and share.
