Have you ever tried reversing your shoulder workout and doing the ‘smaller,’ movements first?

Nice pressing there big guy.

Yep! When I’m working on bringing up mid and rear delts I’ll do those first, then presses. Presses go down significantly when that happens. I think it’s a great idea to start off with weak parts if you’re goal is to bring them up.

The pressing is the bread and butter of my training, though, so I like doing those right up front for now.

JG- thanks!!

Back/Bi’s

Not feeling it tonight…

Kayak rows: 6 x 6

CG Pulldowns: 5 x 12-10

They felt crappy.

Walked treadmill x 20 mins, felt a little better

1-arm cable high rows: 5 x 12-9

EZ Cable Preacher Curls: 5 x 12-8

Food? Hungry but nothing but JUNK in the house. Maybe shake or pretend a ‘bag of tuna’ is a ‘gallon of ice cream’.

Maybe just bed. Horny… Hungry… Faaaaaaaack. TMI?

Steely, you got any natural PB in the house? A couple tablespoons of that will take the edge off.

Dude, I got Natty PB up the wazzoooo!! Natty Almond butter, brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios…

I WANT ICE CREAM!!!

Well, then I guess you should have some…

if you want to sabotage all your hard work.

Have an almond

You’re making me hungry. Had to get a handful of nuts. You’re right…boring!

I keep hearing this voice in my head going “NO ICE CREAM FOR YOU!!!”

cool. Then I think I’m doinitrite.

And about the junk food, just get rid of it! I know easier said than done.
This is my life. Hubby can eat whatever he wants. He’s one of those types.
Mostly I’m not tempted…the junk we do have is not really too junky.

HA! Well, unfortunately, I’m not the only one in the house. The ‘snacks’ and stuff are for the kids. Mostly cracker things, fishies, pretzels-- relatively harmless for the kids but my mortal enemy! I can clean out a whole cabinet of that crap in a day.

I’ve won the cookie battle (none in house on a regular basis), but recently turned teh big 40 and there was some ice cream hanging around (I swear I no cake or ice cream!!!).

ya, I get it.

got two rugrats and I understand the snacky things. DAMN YOU DELICIOUS SNACKY THINGS!!! DAMN YOU TO HECK!

Happy Belated b-day!

One of my favorite snacks is 2 tbsp of peanut butter, 1-2 scoops of chocolate protein and just enough milk to mix it good. It’s like a peanut butter cup. Takes the edge off low carbing.
