Sex on T-mag

Exactly Scott. My other favorite magazine is Milo. I doubt you get more hardcore serious than that. You have strongman training, olympic lifting, Bill Starr, Steve Justa, John Brookfield, and even a great article about Kaz recently.
Milo is different, serious, and I’m sure manly enough for the seriouis Tman reader. I doubt it would appeal to your stereotypical frat boy type though.

This might seem slightly out of left field, but it?s something that just occurred to me?

Holland is a country where there are very liberal attitudes towards sex and sexuality, but where they don?t have the same problems with sex crime and teenage pregnancies etc that many other western nations have.

Do you think that this is because of the way in which sex isn?t a taboo subject or due to some other factor?

I?m not trying to dismiss anyone?s points etc, I?m just very interested in people?s opinions.

there are a number of possibilities for this difference you note between Holland’s liberal attitude towards sexuality and their low prevalence of teen preganancy etc.

First and foremost: family structure.
I would venture to say that at current, American families are FUCKED…by a number of different factors…but the bottom line, how much time do you spend with your kids, and not just time, but quality time.

Also, does Holland market sexuality the way American’s do?..by appearing to the ethos?..its absolute garbage…its almost as if the American condition is so bad, we rely on sexual activity as the only medicine to rid ourself of our miserable state…the same goes for alcohol in many ways.

Vain:
I don’t think family structure would be a suitable answer. Most western european countries have high reates of single parent households, and furthermore there is little if no stigma attached to it. There were quite a few articles on the matter when the Norwegian prince married a never-married single mother. It would seem that over there as here there is an increasing loosening of the traditional tie between marriage and family.

I would suggest lower rates of sex offenses in the Netherlands would simply tie to the higher rates of availability. Why would a guy go rape a girl when he can get laid quickly and easily in the Red Light? Granted, your average rapist isn’t exactly a poster boy for social behavior and rationality, but the point remains, crudely as I may have made it.
