Sestak and the Obama's Watergate

How can this NOT be a topic of discussion here? If Sestak is lying, he’s a retired Navy Admiral who just sank his career. If he’s telling the truth (which he has said a dozen times), then only Obama could have authorized offering him the NAVSEC seat as it is a Cabinet-level post. Obama had to be in on it – not realizing that doing this is a ‘High Crime and Misdemeanor’.

Wonder how his speeches will go over in prison?

I think most people like myself are waiting for this story to develop a bit more before talking about it.

Only one thing is certain - someone of some importance is lying. Either Sestak is lying, or the high-level Obama surrogates are lying. There doesn’t appear to be an in-between.

It’s also interesting because a Democratic nominee for the Senate (a fairly liberal one, as well) now has been called a liar by the administration. Sestak will be going up against a Republican for the seat - how does the administration throw its weight behind him after calling him a liar?

The usual caveats apply that Democratic candidates aren’t exactly on wait lists to have Obama come campaign for them, but even still - any distancing looks bad for the party. They desperately need him to join the Senate and be “one of the boys”.

Someone needs to come clean quick.

I agree.

We do need more information to make a good decision one way or the other, but this is definitely a black eye for Obama. Sestak has no reason to lie, but Obama’s administration keeps hammering on him.

I wonder if Big Joe Biden would be willing to Pardon Obama like Ford did for Nixon?

Biden hates America too: "The U.S. vice president, opening his address in Belgium, argued that Brussels – considering its rich history and abundance of international institutions – could well be the “capital of the free world.”

He suggested that Washington, D.C., his home, is undeserving of that title – notwithstanding its wealth of global organizations and the countless international summits that take place there.

“As you probably know, some American politicians and American journalists refer to Washington, D.C. as the ‘capital of the free world,’” Biden said. “But it seems to me that in this great city, which boasts 1,000 years of history and which serves as the capital of Belgium, the home of the European Union, and the headquarters for NATO, this city has its own legitimate claim to that title.”

Biden’s trip to Europe in early May came in the immediate aftermath of the attempted Times Square bombing and his comings and goings were not widely reported. The above comment was made during his May 6 address to the European Parliament."

Why do our leaders have to be scum instead of people we can look up to and admire?

When are people going to get tired of this shit?

I heard something yesterday that made me want to pee my pants I was laughing so hard. The radio talk show host I listen to, Michael Berry, stated that the there are people out there that believe in Obama so much that if Obama pissed on their head they would say thank God it is raining. LMAO. There are these people out there, but they are getting fewer and fewer every day.

Apparently Biden has never heard of the Belgian Congo or King Leopold II.

I find it interesting that Rendell doesn’t support him and people in the white house don’t want him there, but the actual constituents who voted do want him to represent them.

It is just speculation, but I would have to consider that he may just be a decent person of good moral character. If Rendell won’t support him then it is a distinct possibility.

Obama just mentioned in his news conference this morning, that the Sestak issue will be addressed shortly, Lord knows wtf shortly means.

Threatening Sestaks children to force him to tell the public he was lying?

Chicago Politics right?

If we find out Sestak was lying it’d be great for PA, Toomey would have it locked up. If we find out Obama was involved with offering him a job (which he probably was) I’m willing to bet America forgets all about it by 2012.

I am thinking Sestak is telling the truth, he has much less to lose than Obama does.

One other thing is absolutely certain and that is if this were the Bush administration it would be a non stop demand for rolling heads from every quarter. I will say that the MSM has given this at least some attention because it is not possible for even them to entirely ignore a story like this.

They’re still trying their hardest to ignore it as much as possible.

Toomey is anti-science. Which makes him NOT good for PA.

Not terribly familiar with Toomey. How is he anti-science?

unfortunately, I’m going with my inner pessimist and think that this will not turn out to be anything that can be pinned on the big 0"s administration. They are clever and smart and they would have used someone unconnected to the WH directly to make the soft-sell approach. They know that quid pro quo is illegal and would have used an intermediary to convey the message in a plausible deniability gambit.

These people are no slouches at gaming the system - these are the best political tricksters to come out of the Chicago political machine - they know how to cheat and get away with it!
