Nah bro, I just do my penis kegels.
How much pen0r mass have you gained since you started kegaling? Has it all been lean gainz or did you have to bulk to a chubby before cutting down to get the vascularity?
Low reps for strength, medium reps for hypertrophy, and high reps for endurance yo.

All the threads like this remind me of why I train at home.

Give them the blankest face in the world and stare at them until they leave.

Well, my experience was balanced today;

I used a rack next to a couple ladies who were squatting with 140 lbs for multiple sets of 3-4 reps, nice deep ATG squats too. So that was cool to see.

But then later, while mid set doing KB swings, a guy started loading a bar RIGHT in front of me, to the point the kettlebell’s arc came within inches of his arm. I was hoping, just a little bit, that he would move enough that it would hit him. Sadly that didn’t happen.

Its always the passive gym goers who do this. I’ve seen someone get hit by one of the arms on the pec deck then proceed to tell the guy using it to ‘‘watch it’’. I’ve seen these talkative types forget where they are and bump one end of the bar when people are pressing, deadlifting etc and then just say ‘‘oops’’
The sitting on the floor thing was new to me. She wasn’t even dressed to lift. It was pure chill spot time. If she would have had a Corona and a cigarillo it would have been perfect.
There is one female at the LA Fitness I train at that sits on a swiss ball and watches her male friend* lift. Just sits there. It’s confounding.

*I assume they are only friends because he is a pretty good-looking, albeit scrawny, dude and she is a fucking troll. They can’t possibly be from the same gene pool and he can’t possibly hate his penis enough to stick it in something so foul.
LMFAO!

Naw, true Alpha males never lose their grip. Can’t let any beta be out on display in front of my rivals.

just end your set midair then and walk away

This same trainer comes up to me today while doing arms and tells me I need to lay off the synthol in my arms… I was speechless.

Make sure he fits your macros. Stupidity and swa are both very high on carbs and fat.

He doesn’t have much protein, fat, or carbs. Maybe a little bone.

He’s now your bitch. -he’s insulted a customer, been unprofessional and probably broken some happy-clappy code of conduct he signed up to.

Its a bit of a douche move, but your’e now well within your rights to complain to management and put him in hot water if he keeps annoying you. Imagine the shit he’d get in if he randomly went up to a fat chick and told her to stop stuffing her face with krispy kremes!

I’d still go for bear hugging him into a coma :0

Very true, but I have been told point blank by the owner of this gym that they don’t cater to people like me. Yet, he still gives me a free membership and tanning.

You know its perfectly legit to make fun of people who work out, but not people who are fat! Come on man!

The synthol comment sounds like a compliment. Dude obviously thinks your arms are big enough to be sticking oil into

Start “friendly” punching him in the arm.
Hey duder! high five How you doing man? punch in the arm …I also think a noogie and/or picking him up and running around with him is a good idea.

Free membership is nice though.

I think there is a stark difference in “catering to” and showing respect for anyone in the gym. I’m also not the most versed, but I would be surprised if you have used Synthol and even more surprised if at your current softer look (ie I can’t see muscle striations to really make a judgement call on use, and certainly there are no signs of overuse) anyone could make such an off-the-wall comment.

I would complain. That is unprofessional. Accusing you of using is one thing, coming up to you and saying something like that to your face unwarranted, unagitated, is clear harassment. Dude should at the least have to apologize to you in front of management. Hell, if it were my gym I’d fire his ass. Personally, as a gym/business owner, I’d only care about any “use” if it was done on my premises because I’d be liable for it, otherwise do as you need. The more hardcore gym goer’s in my gym - still being respectful of those around them - the better my gym looks.

Also, if I merely wanted a bear hug, do I have to insult you, or can I just ask? We can call it a “bro hug” if that makes it more in comraderie and less homo.
