Wow Spock, that’s a really insightful post. I’ve got a tonne of respect for you.
OP I’ve never been in your position and I don’t feel I can comment on what you should do, but what most of the others have said in this thread seems like really great advice.
We may face some limiting circumstance today. Whether it is the result of our failure, or through no fault of our own, we can go through it or seek Gods strength to grow through it. The challenge of every confinement is to increase rather than decrease; to grow and not diminish. The Lords goal is to give us a future and a hope. (v.11). David McCasland
I know, Lord, that You can use the circumstances
I am in for my good. Change me, and grow
me in my knowledge of You and intimacy
with You. Give me Your strength
I hate these threads, because every time the OP only posts once. And so then obviously I’m wondering if he ended up taking a long walk off a short pier after all.

Or was embarrassed and never returned.

Most of these are probably troll posts. But in the off chance its not, I would feel bad telling someone to end it.[/quote]
Ya, that’s why I just stay out of them. The post is pretty well written, which leads me to believe it isn’t’ real.
Either way it doesn’t really matter. Life is what you personally make of it. You can’t rely on someone else to make you happy. Other can be an awesome addition/supplement to happiness though.
My advise, fwiw, find a job you can tolerate, pays the bills, and just deal with it. Most people will never find that “dream” job. Even people with their dream job still get pissed off about work. Do you think Peyton enjoyed the Super Bowl?
The key is to emjoy the moments in between work to the max.

I have a friend who doesn’t have the will/ability to get through any post secondary education either (and barely got through high school).
He buys a pound of pot every 6 weeks, sells it for profit and makes 35k/year tax free.
He has his own place, car and cell phone. Only about 2-3 hours a day does he actually work - making drops or scheduling pickups.
This kid doesn’t really have the talent or work ethic to do anything else and he is fully abled.
Not telling you to do this or anything… just telling you about my friend, that’s all.

Not bad. He figured out a way to provide for himself which accomodates his lifestyle.

Is he happy?

I doubt the three hots and cot in his future will make him very happy.
Blah blah blah wants to die, comes to a primarily bodybuilding website, registers and writes an extremely well-written and planned out post (doesn’t have the aptitude for a computer job, aka the IQ of a donkey, but writes very well?)…interesting. I’m surprised how many respond to things like this as if they’re real.

Or realized that threatening suicide to random people on the internet doesn’t actually solve anything nor is it fair to put such a burden of resolving internal problems on external people.

Why even bring it up then? I used to have a boss who would say ‘never threaten a hooker with a dick’.
Life is not easy, nor is it fair. That does not mean it cant be good, enjoyable and rewarding. Just understand that nobody will fix it for you nor make it better. That rests on your shoulders.
