That being said - I will say that TheMightyStu downright DELIVERS. I have followed his example and taken and posted regular progress pics and a posing video in Performance Photos so now I’m calling people out here. I do this in order to improve the quality of the forum and also to try to understand why people are so secretive when we all want to see progress and when digital cameras, webcams and youtube are AVAILABLE and cheap.

Calling out:
Professor X (why is the lighting so poor, want to see a posing video)
Cephalic Carnage (Cant find any pics or video of you anywhere, this shouldnt be the case)
Akuma (pics without a baggy shirt please…video of 600 lb for reps smith bench)

I dont know man. You can be mildly ‘on the spectrum’ and not even know it. It could also be totally irrelevant. For a lot of people those traits are really helpful in their chosen fields and the interpersonal disadvantages are negligible.

I have seen pictures of people who train hard naturally for 10 years (see pic). I am trying to get pics of professor X out of curiousity. He makes it seem like he has grown a tail or mutated somehow because of lifting weights. I want to see what is behind the curtain.

pic is someone who has been training hard as hell since 1999, naturally

And to the OP, none of us on here owe you anything. I’ve been lifting longer than you have been alive and at that point, like many others have said, progress is not that fast and is much more subtle. I am not a pro bodybuilder, nor do I aspire to be, so constant posting of pics serves no purpose. I also have a life outside of these boards that include a job, raising kids, paying bills, recovering from an injury, etc.

In another thread I did say that when I decided to push my weight back up to about 265 or 270 I would do pics and updates and maybe a log if people were interested, but that is something I would do because it suits me, not because someone young enough to be my son makes weird demands.

You have made good progress and you should be happy, but don’t come into the classroom like a petulant 3 year old demanding things as if you actually have some form of authority over any of us. We’re grown men and women and you should govern yourself, accdordingly.

Sigh… I hear this this kind of BS and I want to hit my head against a wall. There’s plenty of evidence of prehistoric man (that is man before civilization) taking care of the elderly and sick. Examples of this include men with broken bones that came from a relatively young age that lived a long life. They would have died and not passed on their genes without care. One of the strengths of humanity is the willingness to take care of the sick or otherwise disabled. They can still contribute to society and humanity’s existence as a whole.

Also, just because someone wouldn’t have survived prehistoric times doesn’t mean that they cannot contribute to society. Take for example any one in these forums who’s mother had a c-section for one her children before her or you for that matter. Back in the days before medicine you and/or your mother would not exist now and would no longer be passing your genetic information on.

And yes, I think even the OP despite the cluster-fuck of a thread he made might have something to contribute to society at some point in time if he hasn’t already.
