About to start my second ever cycle. First one was 500mg a week for 12 weeks followed by 4 weeks of nolva.
I had little no side effects on first cycle. Maybe some mild acne and shrinking balls. Due to not experienceing serious sides, I’m tossing up whether to repeat the same cycle or increase to 750mg a week.
What are chances the extra 250mg will drastically increase my sides and if so is the likely Gains from the higher dose outweigh the potential cons?
Important to note I am in no way a competitive bodybuilder so I’m trying to be as responsible as possible but also wanting to get the most out of myself.
What are your current stats? Lifts and measurements. Pic is even better, but not everyone is down for that.
I ask because if you’re already big and strong, the difference between 500 and 750 may not be noticeable. I think other guys on here would back me on that.
If you’re still under 200 pounds and can’t yet bench 300, squat 400, and deadlift 500, 750mgs of Test and a lot of food will do you real nice!
Saw that I didn’t address this. Drastically increase sides? based on the fact you tolerated 500 so well, I’d vote slim chance.
Gains outweighing the cons? This will depend on your level of development, for sure. If you’re intermediate, 750 should give you huge gains. If your already advanced, it may not be worth it.
Do you have an AI on hand? If you do, I’d say go 750. Around week 3 if the sides start creeping up, you can either:
A) start and AI at a low dose, say .5mg Anastrozole 2xweek, and keep running the 750
B) just drop Test down to 500/wk for rest of cycle.
I didn’t get any negative side effects at 600 mg/wk. No nipple issues, no significant bloating. A couple pimples is it. We are different, and for those that handle test well above average, then going high with it is probably a good strategy.
Just based on my experience: First blast included 500 mg TC, second I upped to 750 for a handful of weeks mid cycle before tapering down, didn’t see a huge difference in sides or gains. I agree adding another compound may be better, they all have their list of benefits and sides so pick the one that best suits you. But, if you’re up to trying it a few weeks on blast to see how you do, why not.
