Screw Terrell Owens

Slap yourself twice for the “holla” and three times for the “ya”.

It would have taken you a TOTAL of 3 extra letters (excluding the ones that were used in words in which they do not belong) to not to sound like a complete dumbass.

Repeat after me, “HollER if yOU hear me.”

Still stupid, but not illiterate.

A San Francisco native telling Rainjack that he loves him. No way.

Why all this hating on TO? The Eagles do a great job of marketing themselves as a blue collar team, but come on, no one in that front office is blue collar. We’re talking about a bunch of suits who make a lot of money off of blue collar players who go out there and risk injury everytime they play. And then they pay these players less than their market value and use the guise of their blue collarism(yeah, yeah, whatever) to justify their position and say these players are spoiled. The NFL is big business these days, and Philly is a money making machine just like any of the big time franchises.

I have a hard time listening to executives talk about spoiled players when they’re sitting in the owner’s box on their asses while these guys are playing, and especially a player who busts his ass on the field. Sure he’s a pain in the ass in the locker room, but he is absolute gold on the field. If they had paid him what he demanded at the beginning of the season, I have no doubt he would’ve killed himself on the field trying to win for them. I think he’s pretty well screwed himself with his conduct over the past couple weeks, but at the same time I’m tired of everyone saying the Eagles are better off without him. Yeah, TO’s the reason they can’t get any form of a running game going and their defense has come up short in close games this year. If that bastard would just stop catching touchdowns maybe the Eagles would win a game.

Now TO has apologised again, what chance the Eagles will change heart and suit him up?

If I was Andy Reid, I would, on the condition that he knows it is his last chance. Also, they suck this season. They need him, even though he is a dickhead.

TO is a tool. Eagles were losing when they had him and they will go on losing without him.

With a spotty defense, no running game and a damaged QB this will not be their year.

I was watching TO coverage last night and everyone was saying he got them over the hump to the Super Bowl last year. That is totally BS. He was injured for the last few games of the regular season and missed all the playoffs. He did play well in the Super Bowl, but he certainly did not get them into it.

The Eagles don’t need him, they need to run the ball. Unfortunately they do not have a good running back. Westbrook is a great reciever, but it seems he can’t carry the ball consistently.

I hear thats why the top of Texas Stadium is still left open. So God can watch the Cowboys play.

No way.

It’s like a five-year-old. They apologize for the sake of apologizing. He has no idea what he is apologizing for, he just knows it will let him back out on the stage.

Sorry… but the only stage he should be playing on is NY Ballet. Serves him right for not realizing football is a team sport.

F- professional athletics.

It is God’s toilet bowl.

Philly in the playoffs means that they’re gonna hafta do better than Seattle, Atlanta, Carolina, Washington, NYG, Dallas, who’m i forgetting?.. uh, even St. Louis since Martz’s retard ass isn’t coaching anymore.

since Washington and Dallas are gonna beat Philly’s record it’s impossible for them to go to the playoffs.

Indy and Cary in the superbowl. it’s not Seattle’s year yet.

funny how RJ posts in facetiousness and others dont get it.

I’m just happy to see that Dallas hasn’t fallen so far off the NFL map that they have lost all their haters.

The NFC East is back.

As for TO - Was I the only one that thought his agent was even more of a prick than Owens?

Dallas will never lose their haters. Parcells’ll make sure of it.

as for TO - i tend to not catch news coverage so i have no clue. although, im sure his douche ass surrounds himself with other douche asses who make giant douches of themselves.

No thanks we already have enough! And that whole Lawrence Phillips thing didn’t really work out either. You can keep the aholes.

Ok…I’ll play your silly game. There is really no defense for T.O. but c’mon, why is everybody overreacting?

What did T.O. really do?

Did he murder someone? (Ray Lewis) oops, he was just involved in a murder investigation.
Did he hit an official?
Did he use an illegal drug? (pick one)
Did he commit any type of crime? (here again, pick one)

The answer of course is NO. While I do not agree with his way of handling things he is entitled to his opinion. When you really get to the heart of the matter that is the problem. People disagree with his opinion. Philly knew this going in and now they act surprised. Give me a break!!

NFL players are forgiven for way bigger problems. This guy is a physical specimen in a game where physical specimens dominate. He doesn’t get paid to give his opinion, he gets paid to run and catch. But he IS entitled to speak his mind, no matter how stupid he sounds.

I’m blown away by the reaction to him actually because the NFL celebrates the bad boy image.

Marvin Harrison is the best receiver in the league but you wouldn’t know it from the press that Randy, T.O. and others get.

And I guarantee that if Philly were 8-0 (not 4-4) T.O. would be worshipped by the entire city and coaching staff in spite of his mouth. T.O. was the same guy last year in the Super Bowl but all you heard about was his heroic performance after an injury.

And no I’m not an Eagles fan (go Saints)and I personally don’t care for T.O. but let’s be honest…T.O. is getting way too much press for something as simple as “stupid comments”.

These were my feelings exactly. It would be funny to watch someone who always acts like they need to follow rules sit out like a 3yr old in time out , even if it is only for a season. And yet, high profile players get more attn than low profile players, so time will tell.[/quote]

Yeah, but thinking about it some more I actually think he WILL get signed. I mean, why not? I can easily see teams selling their souls to sign him so they can win with the full knowledge that it’ll blow up in their face a year or two down the line. But at least until that time, he’d help greatly. And then, suspend his ass. The Falcons are a likely candidate.

Nope. The agent’s just the worst

No. His agent is a cocksucker too, although I don’t know if the the level is up to Owens’.

And when my Giants go down in December, your Cowboys better watch out…

True, players commit “bigger” offenses, but few commit more important offenses. How much does snorting some nose canding while stabbing a prostitute who is sucking you off while you hit a police officer with your car affect your gameplay?

Assuming you live and get out of jail somehow, it affects your gameplay very little. Being rude to your team, coach, quarterback, and people that pay the bills does hurt your play though. No matter what anyone says your feelings about the people around you influence how you behave towards them.

I agree with what I heard on ESPN, people will play the rent T.O. for a year game from here on out.
