somehow I think you still crush me but im getting there. I want to make a big splash next competition and get what I feel are respectable numbers. I am very excited to see where I may end up. One day I will be like the Balla!

vanilla iced my shoulder. I looked online and it says my subscap is probably a little jacked up. So I figure ice and a bunch of scap retractions/band pull aparts are in order for today.

advantages of having a girl that owns a pizza shop. Anabolic Pizza

Very nice. I think my waist line just grew an inch or two seeing that pie in all its freshly-baked glory.

A different part of me grew an inch or two seeing it.

Wait what?

Didn’t Jerry warn George against mixing food and sex?

Im with in 8 pounds of being accepted to Rhodestown. I gotta bulk up!

early deload
bench 2x5 300
scap retractions
triceps

Josh felt that an early deload may be the best for me right now with how banged up I am. Considering I am 14 weeks away from competition this will serve as a good rest period and I will be ready to prepare to crush some weights.

deload squat with 2 sets of 5 at 280

widened my grip out to keep the pressure off my shoulder. Seemed to be ok. I am hopeful that by the end of the week I will be back and ready to roll.

Damn dude your lady is a keeper…dont fuck that one up

I am trying not too. She likes SHW’s

Just wanted to say congrats on all your progress! Was going to make a comment about recovery and mobility but I think you already addressed that issue!

Keep pounding away dude. I can’t remember who said it, but the other day I read or heard a quote regarding to powerlifting and loved it. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint”

going to start getting myself ready for the Maryland State. Since its Nov 10th allegedly its too close to the Norfolk competition. So traveling to Columbia MD is much easier for me therefore I shall train for that one instead. Had to stop with Josh Bryant due to some money issues but plan on scrounging up some cash for the next few weeks so he can do my meet prep. I still think that 1500 may be in reach but I wont figure that out until I start getting into doubles. Any improvement I will be happy. I was sick all week so I lost weight down to 266 but I think either way I am just going to make the push into the 280’s if I can. Fuck not being a SHW! Besides im 6’2 and some change I can hold the extra weight

No so squat day
Still feeling dehydrated and sick so I shut todays session down. No reason to injure and or shit myself at the gym. I am kind of at a crossroads of what to do right now. I defiantly need to take a deload to get better. I am still banged up here and there. I actually was hoping for some input if you guys could. I am 15 weeks away from contest. I was thinking I would take 2 weeks to deload and lose some excess bodyfat. Nothing extreme but I was going to eat healthy pretty much which has always dropped my weight. Next my first week of my deload I was going to make it this week since I feel awful still. I was going to drop the main lifts to 50% instead of the 60% I have been at and then the next week take it up to 65%. As much as I fear losing strength I feel like I have done a lot to get strong and make a 12 week push. Let me know your thoughts please.

Thanks

If you are beat up, then just fucking deload

If you want to eat properly, go ahead and do so…you are 15 weeks away…plenty of time to accumulate a bit more strength then peak.

Thanks VT, I am a dumb ass sometimes when it comes to this and like many forget to just calm down and stop over analyzing shit. I think being sick last week just kind of fucked me up in general. Should have just took the week off and chalked it up to a win for mother nature.
