School Shooting in Connecticut

You’re showing massive ignorance here. I sincerly doubt he was using a Class 3 weapon.

Plus, having actually killed people with selective fire weapons, I can tell you I seldom, if ever, did more than a 3-round burst.

Full auto, outside of a chain-fed and/or crewed weapon is of marginal use.

Had those WW2 soldiers been given the choice they would have preferred a magazine with a higher capacity. It also means fewer magazines to carry.
Actually, when the change from the M14 (in 7.62 by 51 aka .308) in Vietnam with the 20 round mag to the M16 with the 30 and many more mags, the common infatry man was unbelievebly pissed off.

I was fortunate enough to use for most of my tours in Afganistan an updated version of the M14 and was quite pleased to have the knock-down power of a real round – despite not having the extra 10 rounds in my mag I would have had with an M4.

From the UK, rest in peace, this is devastating.

Is that real?
It’s actually fake. My bad. Found it on another website.

Everyone was dead by the time they did the lockdown. The kids who died didn’t have time to write notes. That fuck used a huge bullet on small children. The ONLY injury that I can come up with is the Vice Principle (I think that’s the early report) was shot in the foot/leg. (3 left, only 1 came back).

3 people total - that’s IT - transported to hospital, 2 of them dead.

Probably right, but I’m gullible enough to not have questioned it right off the bat…

According to Nation Master, the SIG556 can fire up to 700 rounds a minute.

Class 3 or not I don’t see any reason a 20 year old should be able to get his hands on one for non-military purposes.

My God! What drives a human to want to kill children? How can a mind become that sick? It’s beyond crazy. What sickness can take the same people we see walking the streets, driving cabs, holding regular jobs and twist them to the point that they believe Killing defenseless children is an answer to any problem they may have. I just can’t wrap my mind around this.

Anyone, Anyone that does this has the weakest most pussified mind and they should not be turned into villains or super villions by the media. There very name should be stained with being weak and lower than any coward. I hope we do not breed more of these fucktards by making this asshole famous.
Exactly. The tv was on in the gas station as I walked in today. As I listened to these two pundits frothing at the mouth glorifying this murderous shit bag, I felt utterly disgusted.

Why do things like this happen? I just don’t understand. Do we blame guns?

Words can’t express the sickness I feel in the pit of my stomach for all those parents who are going to bury little children the same age as my sweet girl. What kind of horrible, worthless, belly-crawling piece of worm shit murders a kindergarten class?! I can’t imagine it - that is the face of the devil. There’s just no other explanation. There’s nothing to say - at least nothing that really matters worth a shit. Fuck politics right now.

There isn’t a parent out there who doesn’t feel the same way I do today - it just sickens you in your soul - it really does. So I hug my girl tonight and am sick with grief for the parents whose lives are completely destroyed in an instant by some monstorously evil thing who should have been aborted by God himself…

Obviously something is to blame. The US of A will cease to function without some kind of scapegoat.

The sig is a basically a cool-looking AR-15 variant, single fire only with a 10 or 30 round mag. It’s nothing extraordinary.

Because there are crazy and evil people.

Guns are no more at fault than a fork made Rosie Odonnel fat.

Guns are not the problem.

Last year we had a similar case here in Brazil, a guy came into a school and killed about 16 students, putting them up against a wall and shooting each one in the head, and carrying guns is prohibited by law here. Someone said it earlier, you have to work on the mentality first.

It wouldn’t make a difference if he stepped into that school packing a pistol instead, the damage would be done anyway. If you take guns away, people will find other way to do this shit, with knives, forks, stones or whatever it is.

Just my 2 cents.

Guns are bad, m’kay

Sounds good in theory. However, it is a heck of alot easier to kill alot of people with a semi automatic assault rifle than with stones or a fork.

They will turn this twisted pussy into force of evil. The big news stations will make his name famous. He will be another example for the weak worthless do nothings of this world who want to die famous on how to go out and have your name on everyones lips.

It makes me sick that the VA Tech fucks face is burned in my mind.

It is, a lot. The thing is that, in my opinion, it doesn’t do squat to deal with the source of this problem - we all heard what happened in China, didn’t we?

Guns might be the means to an end, but ONLY dealing with that is to neglect the bigger picture. This is just my opinion, again.

You are forming an opinion on a weapon based on intentional misinformation.

If you ever got your hands on such a weapon, you would find that firing 700 rounds per minute is not even remotely physically possible. You would also find that intentionally hitting something while even attempting such a feat is highly improbable.

But none of the chinese children died. 22 were stabbed and none died.

I agree that people will always find ways to do twisted despicable things but I personally think its a hell of a lot easier to kill on a large scale with firearms (in a country were they are readily available) than by any other means.

I really don’t know anything about the gun culture in the US, and I don’t want to stir anything up on a topic I admit I’m ignorant on, but I personally am a fan of the gun laws here in the UK (i.e. you can only own firearms that are designed for hunting (shotguns and hunting rifles), you undergo strict background checks and you have to give some form of evidence as to your intention to use them to hunt).

This saddens me to no end. Having kids in an elementary school not knowing what hit them. Give your children a hug and a kiss tonight. Tell them you love them and be grateful they came home today.
