This took me right back to the attacks here in Norway last year.
My deepest condolances to the families of the victims.
Im not religious, but I really hope there is a hell awaiting people who committ such atrocious crimes.

Let’s blame the music" - columbine shootings
let’s blame the video games
let’s blame the guns
“Everybody is wanting to know what music were the kids listening to, or what movies were they watching. Who gives a fuck what they was watching! Whatever happened to crazy? What, you can’t be crazy no more? Should we eliminate crazy from the dictionary?”

I am all for the right to bear arms but I do not believe it should be that easy to obtain such a high power rifle.
A .223 is not a high power rifle. It’s barely a hunting round. It’s a slightly-larger .22 bullet.
Any number of hunting rounds are far more powerful. The .308 comes to mind first.
A 12 gauge shotgun is way more powerful.
The power of the rifle, or more precisely the round, is not the issue but magazine capacity and auto vs semi auto are the issues.
An Ar-15 is a semi-auto, not an “auto.”
Magazine capacity is a non-issue in reality.
Soldiers in WWII did plenty with 8 round mags in their M1 rifles.
But auto vs semi is an issue when writing gun control laws. Magazine capacity is an issue because the more rounds you can fire without reloading is a factor when it comes to killing efficiency. Had those WW2 soldiers been given the choice they would have preferred a magazine with a higher capacity. It also means fewer magazines to carry.

I picked up my 9 year old daughter today and was so happy to see her safe after hearing this. Man I feel so helpless after this, my deepest sympathies go out to the families in CT. Hug your loved ones everybody you really just never know…
Exactly.
This goes out to anyone who thinks we’re safe ANYWHERE in the world.
Wow 3 pages in and we’re already discussing what firearms were used.
Not singling anyone out. Just pretty weird for a guy who’s never even seen a gun, reading some of the posts on here.
Don’t really think it’s the time right now to be discussing politics or firearms.
My condolences to the families of those poor babies and teachers who lost their lives today.

That’s not how things work outside of the personal face to face interactions of those directly affected.

Letter written by one of the children who died during the lockdown.
May the innocent souls rest in peace and condolences to the parents.
As for that fucker, I hope he rots in hell.

Any info on the shooter? A student? Teacher? Teacher’s aide/volunteer?
I’d bet my fucking ass it’s a middle-aged white guy with extreme right-wing political views.
Or a 20 year old kid.
Pretty much the same thing, huh?
Kiss your fucking ass goodbye, I guess. You lost that bet by a bunch.
I’d be willing to bet it’s a couple of kids whose parents just threw pharmaceuticals and violent video games at them every time they had some sort of issue, rather than sit down and actually act like a fucking parent to their kids.

I agree however right now, it’s something I personally wouldn’t indulge in due to how angry I feel after hearing the details of this story.

Word. It’s horrible, as a father it just breaks your heart. Nothing is worse than losing a child. Not that I know, but I never want to…
Now wait for the blame game. People always look for someone to blame when this shit happens. Since the asshole who did it is dead and roasting in hell, others will be targeted. So there will be more victims of this dickhead’s actions.

I doubt it is real. Many people will capitalize on tragedy to put something like this out there.

Not certain, but it looks like the first language is Hungarian. Not that that’s at all relevant, except that I’m certain they don’t teach that to kids at an elementary school level.
I could understand if, say, kid wrote the note in two languages while in a French/Spanish/etc. class. Anyway, just a random comment.
My God! What drives a human to want to kill children? How can a mind become that sick? It’s beyond crazy. What sickness can take the same people we see walking the streets, driving cabs, holding regular jobs and twist them to the point that they believe Killing defenseless children is an answer to any problem they may have. I just can’t wrap my mind around this.
Anyone, Anyone that does this has the weakest most pussified mind and they should not be turned into villains or super villions by the media. There very name should be stained with being weak and lower than any coward. I hope we do not breed more of these fucktards by making this asshole famous.
I don’t think the kids had enough time to write a letter.
