SB's Upcoming Blast

for me its kind of expensive but i get it from a friend i trust. I’ve seen it online for prices that are pretty good though.

So last night I shot 5iu of GH, all I can say is WOW. I had the best sleep I’ve had in months. Wokeup with skin looking shiny and glowy. Dont know if its placebo but wow. Also, pec tear seems to be already better. I think I should be back doing chest work within a week or two.

Sorry to hear about the pec tear mate

I know you’re looking forward to this competition, you don’t want you’re hard earned progression to be wound back… however I believe you’re judgement may be impaired in part due to extreme ambition. Working chest again 1-2 weeks after a tear is a really bad idea, you could induce further damage. Whilst a break may be emotionally difficult, painful even… it’s the best course of action when thinking of long term detriment vs reward. Is it really worth starting again now to risk being out for 6 months due to the requirement for extensive surgery?

Perhaps you have a mild (GRADE I) pec tear… you can use all the drugs in the world to speed up recovery, but 1-2 weeks is simply too quick to jump right back into you’re chest routine… do you seriously want to risk progressing this grade I pec tear to grade II or even grade III?

I’m not going to tell you what to do… but I will say this, there are many future competitions, while painful it isn’t the end of the world if you have to sit this one out, or if you don’t place as well as you perhaps could have due to waiting adequately for repair. I personally think you should wait a longer duration, perhaps rehabilitation/PT style exercises to regain mobility before adequate healing could be of benefit… but please be careful

Further progression of injury will make you depressed… trust me… being entirely unable to train for long durations isn’t something you want

@Singhbuilder gonna have to agree with unreal. even with the bpc you still need at least a month off such an injury before you even think about beginning to rehab it. you can start stretching it out and using it once it feels good. You should even use it normally if you can, as I believe that will be enough to prevent atrophy for just a month. But you cant exercise it.

Heal up brother. Let the GH do its work. Enjoy the recovery and get some rest

You’re both right. Thank you guys, I appreciate the support and honesty. It is a very hard pill to swallow, considering it had been a year since I tore my left side and was JUST getting over the mental barriers of pressing heavy again. I need to be very careful, I think I will just remove pressing off a bench when I am able to train chest again. I was making good progress on floor presses, I dont know why I decided to try the bench press.

Thank you brother. I’m running it at 5iu per day, hoping this sorts me out as it did last year. Im planning to stay on GH for at least 6 months now.

You’re going to love it more each day. Regarding your upcoming competition, I do not believe that the torn pec will prevent you from training for this. There are many things you can still do and (as I found out after my injury) there are many indirect ways to stimulate a muscle.

I agree brother. I just need to train very smart. I will stay on my cycle throughout and hit the GH and BPC, hopefully that should sort me out fast.

I stopped messing with the bench maybe 6 months ago. Sense incorporating other chest exercises in replacement my chest isn’t getting any stronger really, but iv noticed major change in chest thickness and muscle development. Especially that hard to reach elusive lower /under pec.

My reason for ditching bench was mostly due to training alone and not wanting to hurt myself trying to push something to heavy or for one last rep without a spot. Every once in a while il toss a few plates on and bang out 15 reps just to make sure I still got it and each time I do it’s a reminder of why I’m in no hurry to add bench back into my routine.

I know it would be a bit of a sidetrack, but care to elaborate on some of the stuff you’ve used after stopping bench?

I’m curious too especially for lower chest. I do mostly weighted dips and lower chest cable flys.

Well before my chest routine was heavily focused on bench and dumbbells and of course all different inclines/declines, techniques and range of motions.

I replaced these with more cable exercises and variations, it’s amazing how you can target the pecs with cables and something simple as changing grip from over to under or slightly tilted on the cables works wonders at really isolating and targeting certain parts of pec.

I also use the lat pull down and use mind muscle connection to focus the weight on my upper chest sitting straight up makes this easier to not engage the back/lats (this also hits the front delts a little which iv found to be unavoidable)

And then last but certainly not least as dex said the good ol dip! I can absolutely crush my chest doing dips il use a machine if I want to really just pulverize my pec or il use a dip stand and angle my body slightly forward almost like a lean to really target my lower pec.

Warning: it’s easy and common for guys to hurt themselves especially thier shoulders from what iv heard on the dip stand so mind muscle connection and controlled movement is a must.

SB sorry to hear about the tear. Was it flat benching?

I use it occasionally and I can feel the bendryl the next day.
There’s a chance Glaucoma as well

I think he’s just messing with you because you always seem to snap when he writes a hardcore tren comment haha

Perhaps, perhaps…

I make hardcore anti tren comments

I couldn’t find studies on the effects of Benzos on rem sleep and deep sleep. Maybe I’m just bad at searching. Could you send me a link?

Thanks for this Zeek, I will be incorporating all your exercise recommendations when I start training chest again. If I ever do press again, it will strictly only floor presses.

It was indeed, only 100kg.

how were you progressing up until that point? how many weeks until the show?

I was still bulking. Around 18 weeks left so depending on recovery it could still be a possibility.
