Not even that heavy, 100kg. Was the second set at that weight and as pressed it up, just heard a ripping sound. Exactly a year ago i tore my left hand side pec, now its the right.
Not sure how badly you’ve torn it SB, but BPC-157 is definitely worth a try if you have the cash. I thought I tore my quad about 6 or 7 weeks ago squatting. For a few days I was limping and couldnt lift my foot up high enough to get a sock on while standing. I started with the BPC almost immediately and was able to squat down all the way again within 2 weeks. I took it very easy for another month and yesterday I squatted 495 without pain. I’m a skeptic in general, but I have to assume I recovered better than I otherwise would have without the BPC.
Don’t you need surgery to repair the pec? My friend that recently tore his pec benching was out for months. He was all black and blue from the tear and his arm was immobilized too after surgery.
Once the swelling dies down tomorrow I will go to the hospital. I think its not at the level of requiring surgical intervention because my pec tear last year didnt require it either and this feels similar.
I pinned it in my quad with the 3/8in slins. if it went IM, then it went IM. I think i did 300 the first few days then 250 for another 10, but I gotta double check.
