Mantra of the day - If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
I had an awesome day out in 80 degree weather, and what made it less stressful was that I stuck to my dietary guidelines with ease despite being prepared to only be away from home for about 5 hours. Note to self: Invest in a cooler.
I grabbed a Banana, some almonds, and packed away 2 scoops of Metabolic Drive before I headed out for the day. The cheat meal I started my day with gave me a good amount of sustained energy, so I didnt eat again for another 4 hours.
At that point I downed all the food I brought with me, and balance was once again restored to the force. The worst part of my day was actually downing the Metabolic Drive shake. I left my water to mix it with in the car, so by the time I poured it in my shaker it was prett hot, which made the shake pretty awkward to drink.
I also noticed that if you pour the water on top of the poweder thats already in the shaker you only tend to get about 1/3-2/3 of the shake, with the rest sticking to the cup and turning into undrinkable glop.
My proudest moment of the day was getting food on the way home. There were several places to choose from, and I could’ve easily rationalized having a meal that wasn’t conduvice to my goals, but I toughed it up, looked over the menu and just got a steak sandwich minus the bread and cheese.
Meal 2 - 2 grilled chicken wraps from Wendy’s minus everything but the chicken
2 HRX
Meal 3 - 5 eggs, 1 low carb tortilla, broccoli
Meal 4 - Shug’s Super Pizza (1 1/2 since my GF only ate half of hers)
Meal 5 - 3oz steak, broccoli, 1tsp fish oil
I was a little skeptical about having the pizza because I figured it would negatively effect the pounds I’ve been dropping lately, but when I weight myself this morning I was still at 191 despite the massive amount of food I ate.
I wont make this a habit since I’m not a fan on pizza, but it was certainly worth trying - best pizza I’ve ever had. Interestingly enough, this was the first time that I’ve ever had tomatoes in my life…sad I know.
Nice work man!!! The story about the jeans was too funny, and the ‘metro move’ had me rollin!!!
Glad the steak and salmon, and pizza were good, they looked good (I’m sure they tasted even better).
And yeah, I TOTALLY feel you on pouring the water on top of the powder, because the powder sticks to the bottom of the bottle, and you don’t get all the goodness.
Meal 3 - Graduation Party (2 pieces of ham and 2 pieces of roast beef - not sure of portion size)
2 HRX
Meal 4 - 4oz beef, broccoli
Meal 5 - 6oz beef, broccoli, 1 tsp fish oil
While I’m certainly dropping weight, I realized that I’m sure I could be dropping it at a much faster rate than I actually am - my portion sizes are way off. Will experiment with this more today for the rest of my meals and post the results tomorrow.

And what were you shooting? That looks dangerous!
Sayjin + gun = ???[/quote]
As in what kind of gun, or what kind of targets? We started out shooting some signs we brought out there, as well as some jugs filled with water, then we progressed to clay skeet (skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet!) later on.
This was my first time shooting a gun, so I completely forgot about the kickback and almost got knocked to the ground after my first shot, but after that things picked up. Even though I only successfully hit 2/100 clay targets, I had a blast and cant wait to do it again.
As far as the guns though, I think we were shooting a 500 pump action Mossberg.
To finish your equation, Sayjin + Gun = Carl Weathers, minus the fame.
In summary, while I thought I’ve been dieting, in reality I’ve just been fucking around.
Up until now, when I measured my meat I measured it cooked, completely underestimating the protein/fat content. Example:
Steak (3oz)
7g fat
28g protein
Before today, I assumed this was for 3oz cooked, but in reality it is raw, and all of my logs reflected the cooked weight, resulting in hundreds of calories from unaccounted for nutrients. From this day forward, i’ll measure my meat on my scale before cooking it and record the info that way. From this change alone, I expect to be 188 by Sunday.
How life going for you these days, still working the several jobs? I just picked up a job: 6am-2:30pm for $7.15 an hour…I hate it already! I’m already on the hunt for something that pays at least $9 an hour so I can pay my bills, save a little, and pay my $45 a month for boxing.

Hey bro, it’s all good, one job ended last week, the other is an unpaid internship that I’m doing right now, so your $7.15 an hour is $7.15 an hour more than I make lol.
I’m trying to see if I can have a regular set schedule so that I can find a paying job, so I can make ends meet for the summer.
How bout you man, how’s school, work, life, female situation, etc?
