Was on the DL platform tonight and the bands hook in about 6 inches lower than in the rack. Big difference. I had to keep accelerating from just below the knee to lock out. 495 was an RPE 8.5. Iām ecstatic, in a 60-year-old sorta way.

Iām pretty sure that itās just a timing coincidence. Thereās only one DL platform and itās right in front of the only rack where you can place the glute raise pad. If thereās a problem, itās actually a lack of focus on my part and not anything anyone else is doing.
My gym has āgraduatedā to glute raise hammer strength (donāt know, havenāt looked) looking type machines. If only Bret Contreras had been a better businessman/patent filer(?).
