Those with Sandisk player How do you delete the music from you’re player, how do you make mp3 files compatible for an mp3 player?!?!? I mean there’s the program to convert but all my files mp3 and it the mp3 player doesn’t support mp3 files! I’m talking the Sansa 200 series
I have a Sandisk e280, 8GB
I’ve never had to convery any music files to get them on. My music is already in mp3 format.
Are you sure your music isn’t already in mp3 format? If it is, you shouldn’t have to convert it.
Do you buy off of iTunes? If you do, I believe you have to change some of the prefrences to download in mp3 instead of mp4 (used by the iPod) (I could be wrong, don’t use iTunes myself)
Also, any more detail would be helpful. I’m not sure about what your problem is.
I believe to delete files you first attach to your computer with the USB, Open My Computer and click on the drive it shows representing the sandisk, then delete individual files.
I don’t know the answer to the 2nd question.
Ok, got it thanks I wasn’t aware that in order to access and add music was through “my computer”… used to the itunes gig
However there’s some music that will go into the media > music file but does not show up on the player.
hm, Know how to convert WAV. into MP3?

How many songs do you think is 8gb ?
I think 8Gb is around 2000 songs or so.
Many media players (iTunes, Windows Media Player…) can convert the songs into mp3 for you.
If not, I’m sure if you searched the web you could find a free converter.

Yup, there are a lot of solutions available on www.sourceforge.net
Nice part about them is you can vary the parameters to allow the files to be larger or smaller depending on the fidelity you require.
