San Diegans -- Gym Equipment

Kegrice is selling all of their equipment on craigslist:

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/spo/756657099.html

Anyone outside of SD who wants to negotiate a buy/shipping with me, or anyone who wants to chip in and part out, let me know.

Included: york dbs 5-100, louis simmons squat rack, reverse hyper, glute ham raise, many plates and specialty bars

Listing says $4200, as a complete package only.

Wow! Does this mean Kegrice is closing up shop, or is he just phasing in new equipment?

Not sure. The ad reads like he’s folding, but his web site says nothing about it.

There are a couple thousand dollars worth of just bars and plates in this lot. Though used, this looks like a pretty good deal. I may go look at the goods this weekend.

Either way, $4200 buys a nearly perfect/complete home gym. I know some folks have been interested in finding a GHR or RevHyper or whatever, and I’d be willing to swing a deal to buy the lot and sell pieces to T-Nation folks willing to work with me on the shipping. I’ve got access to a 26’ moving truck and freight, so picking it all up, packing, and shipping is not an issue.

Anyway, if anyone’s interested, PM me. I hate to let this go, so I may buy it all anyway and accept reasonable offers for pieces.

Yeah, though, I remember from looking at the pics of the gym on his site that the GHR and reverse hyper are not authentic models from Elite. Not sure if this makes a difference, but that may put things in a different perspective.

Frankly, I’d take the $4200 and build myself a sweet gym from new equipment. You could set up with a nice rack, bench, GHR, reverse hyper, power bar, SSB, and plate-loaded DBs for that.

All I have to say is keep it classy San Diego
