@T3hPwnisher how does my execution look on my BBB sets? I’m sorry a guy walked in front of the camera mid set but there’s still plenty of reps to see. Is it too fast/sloppy or on point?

Looks good enough. You seem to be relaxing your shoulders and then re engaging them before each rep. I would try to keep them tight throughout. Just personal preference.

Yeah, I find it helps me to get ready for the next rep, I almost use it as a way to pull the slack out of the bar. I’m actually cueing my scapulae back and down, not focusing on my shoulder per se. I’ll try and keep tension in the back during all the set instead and see how it feels.

Yeah, the reason I caution against it for high reps/high fatigue sets is the potential of not getting set up as tight for one of the later reps. I’ve tweaked stuff in the past doing that.

How’s the workload feeling these days?

Hey buddy, thanks for asking!

I’d say it’s been feeling just about right. I’m feeling much better than last week. What still puzzles me though, is that my main work sets of squats still felt harder than I would have rather they felt on week one of the training cycle, but the weight is much lighter than what I was used to handle.

But I guess I’ll work back up eventually. The supplemental work felt solid though.

Good to hear man.

So I’ve been silent for a few days as I had a really busy week. I had to shift my training schedule a day forward to accommodate some partying and sleeping out now that I finally got to spend a good chunk of time with my girlfriend (she took some days off from work for her birthday–lately we could only see each other a few hours a couple of times a week).

However, there’s something that’s now been bothering me big time and I feel I need to talk to someone about this. I already mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, and I talked to @flappinit about this as well, but it’s getting more worrying to me.

Hope someone will read this and maybe will be able to share any past experiences or knowledge about this. @T3hPwnisher @dagill2 @bulldog9899 and everyone else, if you have a few spare minutes please read this.

Basically my bowel has been behaving weirdly over the last month or so. I had a phase where I suffered from constipation, and going to the bathroom would be a challenge on the daily. The last 2-3 weeks that has transitioned to me having to evacuate multiple times a day, up to 6-7 times in a day. Sometimes I’d feel like I hadn’t emptied completely and would feel the need to go again after a short while, and currently I almost always feel the need to go to the bathroom shortly after eating a meal.

Up until last week or two weeks ago I would have episodes of diarrhea as well but currently that seems to have gone away. The most worrying thing though, is that during one of those episodes a few weeks ago, it looked to me like I saw some blood in my stool. I couldn’t tell for sure, as I was shocked, but I had also eaten tomatoes hours earlier after not having eaten them for a while so I can’t be sure it was blood.

But finally, over the last 1-2 days, it appeared to me like there was some mucus in my stool. I can’t tell for sure as I don’t really know what mucus in feces looks like, but I’m pretty positive it was mucus. I also had never paid attention to the look of my stool, so I might be overanalyzing everything, but all of these symptoms make me fear it might be some form of bowel cancer.

I have always suffered from symptoms of IBS since I was a kid, always had episodes of random diarrhea and the such, but never noticed blood, mucus, or alterations in my habits and this is making me more and more worried each day. I’m going to be seeing my doctor on Monday and I’ll see what she says but really, I’m so scared right now.

I wouldnt freak out over it. Probably just the IBS acting up ,your doing the smart thing and seeing a doctor.

I appreciate the faith you have in me man, but this is way out of my league to advise you on, see a medical professional and don’t let it affect your mental state. Sometimes you will get sick, don’t let it do more harm to you than it already is. In other words, don’t let it get inside your head.

Hoping it’s a quick and easy resolution for you man.

By chance, did this change in digestion coincide with the Quest bars? They have a LOT of fiber in them.

Had no time to do any assistance because apparently on Saturday morning the gym closes earlier and I barely managed to get my 5x10 in. I guess that’s the most important part though.
