That was kind of a last ditch effort to try and get on the right track again but to no avail.
I’m at the point now where i don’t even want to eat anything. Gonna move forward keeping food as high as I can manage but no need to push food.
I hate it when we can’t do what we want to do because bodies don’t cooperate. Like, I take you places, give you things, buy you clothes - could you just do this one thing for me?! Digest the food! You owe it to me!
If you don’t mind, what digestion issues? Having had colon cancer and surgery removing a portion of my colon, digestion is always something I am very sensitive about. If you don’t want to talk about it I fully understand.

First off I’m very sorry to hear what you have gone through. I can;t even imagine. Makes my issues seem like first world problems.
That being said, basically the food is just moving very slowly. When it’s time for my next meal i don’t even want to eat. Still feel full/bloated. That has happened in the past with longer duration growing periods. Usually starts 13-14 weeks in. It’s almost like gut fatigue. Once I get to this point it almost becomes mental as well. The thought of eating just makes me feel like crap.
I kind of feel now I’m at the point where I’m mentally done eating unfortunately. I only have a few more weeks left in my growing phase for this year so I’m just gonna dial it back a little. I’m just completely uncomfortable all the time. It’s not fun. If this was my job it would be a different story.
Thanks for your reply. The cancer is no longer an issue, I only mentioned it to partially explain my near obsession with nutrition and digestion. Following your log I’ve felt you have your training and nutrition dialed in.

I’m as dialed as I can be. Frustrating when food is what’s holding you back. Got the shoulder under control now this. Oh well. It is what it is.

Is there a reason you chose this bread?
Because it had great macros and tastes fantastic.
I was wondering if anything in your diet could be affecting your appetite. I saw a day when you ate 6 slices of 647 bread.
I know that many high fiber breads use cellulose powder (saw dust) to boost their fiber content and I don’t know if large quantities of something in the bread could be a contributor to your problem. You are not actually using 647 as a diet substitute (with 6 slices) but more as a calorie adder.
I normally recommend Ezekiel bread as the best grain source.
I’ve been eating the same foods/amounts for a while. It’s the long duration of higher cals. This happens to me every time I take a longer build period. I think it’s just gut fatigue.
I switch back and forth between this bread and the ezikiel. Love them both.

Took a page from the @davemccright handbook on this WO. Huge pump. Was barely getting reps on the last 2 sets of each exercise so my selected weights seem about right as a starting point. Great WO overall!
Stomach doing a lot better. Hopefully back to normal diet tomorrow.

Your supplement stack. It’s…quire extensive. A few eyebrow raising items for mine. But, I don’t know the full history here! Care to elaborate?
Are you iron deficient?
Also, re your gut issues. I don’t see much in the way of fibrous (soluble specifically) veges on the list? But I do see digestive enzymes and supplemental fibre. Why not just get all fibre from whole foods?

What is “eyebrow raising”?
Yes. Been that way for a long time. WBC always been on the low end almost out of range.
I typically have no gut issues. Last couple times I’ve done longer growth periods of higher cals I’ve had issues. I think it may just be gut fatigue. Lowering my foods a bit last week and adding in some apple cod at vinegar has fixed the issue. Due to this I’m keeping foods a little lower and ending the growth phase. When I’m eating a lot I don’t get fiber from foods mainly because I don’t want to eat the additional food. I like taking in around 15-30g of fiber daily. I modulate this based on digestion. It’s harder to modulate fiber with foods as volume would need to go up and down. Make of the game for me is consistency. I don’t like changing things unless I have to.
