Russian Military Buildup Outside Ukraine

I have a question for the people in the USA ( I am in the UK so don’t have 1st hand knowledge)

The US administration, certainly with the Covid mandates, have been out of favour with the public correct?

Biden has been very very vocal about Russia and their plans long before the eventual invasion to the point a lot of the things said here by the British PM is “Joe biden says …” and “Our friends in America has information that…” has this in any way brought the people together and “put the public in line”?

Reason I ask is because historically speaking when a government loses the people the best thing to bring everything in line is the fear of a foreign threat.

**In no way am i being anti USA or expressing any opinion on Russia just curios **

This is what comes to mind as I sit around wondering “WTF?” That wouldn’t a war be a handy way to deal with all the messiness around Covid and, here in the States, at least, political unrest.

But I only loosely follow both politics and this thread, so am talking out of my ass, except that I am and always have been a voracious reader, and historically significant wars have elements in common.

Your PM is being slippery, and no, nobody has been brought into line.

The primary sentiment I’m seeing is that this is confirmation and a result of a weak doddering old man who cant lead a conga line let alone a world leading nation, in the highest office of our government.

In line with Biden? Not by any measure.

In line with each other? Still just as split on domestic politics.

In line with whooping some Russian ass? Not yet, but if we unite around anything, it might be that. Or fighting the Chicoms. But something really bad would need to happen before we agree on war.

Joe Biden isn’t in charge of himself, let alone the executive branch. This is what a puppet government looks like.

The Biden Administration is running the executive branch, not Joe Biden. Aside from named cabinet members and such, we really have no idea who is making decisions on behalf of President Biden and programming his teleprompter.

I’m sure we’re in great hands, as is the entire world.

But hey, no more mean tweets!

Actually one of my first reactions after hearing that the war started was “and we still pretend that these forced fucking things in our face are helping us against a so called threat”.

We have full fledged war in Europe for the first time in over 75 years and we still are forced to wear a mask because of a cold. If people can’t let their fellow men be, then I lose every ounce of hope I have for Europe.

I’m planning on going to a red state one day with my family and bring my money and my work ethic and my will to fight for freedom to a land that appreciates it. I’m tired of pussies.

Bidens address looked horrible AGAIN. That the man doesn’t completely lose control of his sphincter during his speeches amazes me. Such a moron. He wasn’t even bright when he was alive. Now his weakness and retardedness are a problem for the entire western world.

I miss The Donald. I hope the whole world realizes how vilifying the man was one of the biggest mistakes ever made in the modern era.

Who can stand up to Putin? Biden? Dead. Macron? Pussy. Scholz? Pussy. Boris Johnson? Maybe (??) but his country is lost. Zelenskyy is the only real leader left I fear and now he’s on his own. Glory to Ukraine.

Great come on over we could use a hand with a few things Germans are good at. No, not that. Look, you can have a gun but you can’t launch any invasions. Those are the rules.

And yeah, Biden has never been an intelligent man, even when he could make it through a sentence without struggling.

This is what woke priorities lead to.

Honestly, this wouldn’t have been possible under Trump. The Ukrainian war has a such a compelling black-and-white movie narrative so far that his media instincts to jump in couldn’t be stopped.

Quite the opposite. The Biden administration placed a giant neon sign “please, please do not start anything right now because we have too much problems” and Russia and China smelled blood.

I don’t know about the “cold” part, but two weeks ago Belarus social media posters started claiming that a huge number of Russian troops in staging areas around Belarussian towns are incapacitated by covid (unheated field tents and massive alcoholism aren’t a good mix) and that the Russians started bringing in Rosgvardiya units to make up the numbers.

Everyone was dismissing these reports as wishful thinking but now analysts are extremely puzzled that in some axes of advance Russians are literally driving into Ukraine in their police vans.

I know people are not inclined to get involved when a bully in beating someone else, but Baltics, Poland, Romania, Finland would be better served to dive in rather than go one on one against Russia.

Not spoken with some bloodlust or false bravado. I just think Putin won’t stop of his own accord.

HELL NO. A man who cannot even comb his hair is not going to stand up to anyone.

Thanks for confirming.

That man is in a very tough spot . He really only has three options (that I see)

  1. Surrender and preserve as many of his people’s lives by cutting the fighting short (Which he is not doing)
  2. Fight this war alone and know it will end in defeat and his people slaughtered (What I believe will happe)
  3. Fight the war and beg other nations to get involved in the war to protect Ukraine knowing it will start WW3 which will most likely involve nuclear missiles on both ends and have a huge global death toll (He seems to have gone with this)

Christian conservative satirists are, unfortunately, doing a better job of showcasing this administrations absurdity than anyone on CNN, PBS or NBC.

Joe Biden makes Neville Chamberlain look like Hercules. I wish it wasn’t so, but this is probably the worst possible candidate we could have elected for the situation that’s developing in Europe. I’d even take Bernie Sanders as an international statesman over this guy.

Russia will have to do one of the things I mentioned in an earlier post, and then we’ll declare a war that people will buy as a righteous cause. Biden will then go down in history as one of the great U.S. Presidents, like FDR and Wilson.

Bernie would have an unfair advantage in that battle: he doesn’t have to be taken away to have his diaper changed.

Missing the “fire and fury” type speeches from cheeto man right now

Isn’t that just to act as a “police force” once Ukraine falls?

That would make sense if they weren’t the advance parties. Either staggering hubris or manpower issues.

Ugh. Just, ugh. FDR and Wilson were failures in so many ways. I mean, unless you’re pro “fundamental change.” I hate how time has remembered their presidencies.

If we can go to war with Russia, Biden will be right there with them.

Biden is being controlled by the woke, BLM, climate chamge, teachers unions and socialist ideology

So, the general public is not in line with this idiot

Alot of individuals that i know have buyers remorse with Biden

That’s why we need war with Russia.
