From consumer goods to trade deals to rare materials the US enjoys itâs privileged status (despite dropping from almost half to a quarter of worldâs GDP since the end of WW2) thanks to a massive military stick and everyoneâs belief that the US would be willing to use it. You might not see it from the inside while youâre fighting your increasingly ludicrous culture wars, but everyone outside of the US is very aware of the American Empire.
