Russian Leg curls

@CT are russian leg curls dangerous? I look at them and see how the patella is locked into the ground and the amount of eccentric stress on the hamstrings make me think it could injure people.

If you have access to a glute-ham raise bench I see no logical reason to do this exercise.

To play devil’s advocate, I did use it in the past when I didn’t have access to a glute-ham raise and it worked well and if you pad the ground properly it doesn’t hurt. But the glute-ham raise is just a superior overall exercise and as a minimalist I find using inferior exercises to be kinda dumb.
