Running After Doing Legs OK?

In my opinion, it helps aid recovery. Obviously not sprints, but a slow, steady pace.
x2

I used to train @ 5AM every morning with an oldschool bodybuilder. Huge motherfucker in his late 40’s. He had many tricks of the trade, he wore a fanny pack and those puffy “zubaz” pants to the gym. (20 years later)

Every leg day we would get a monster shake from the shake bar and he would have us walk for around 30 mins. He said this helped break up the lactic acid, move some blood, release GH and speed up the recovery process. It seemed to help. Nothings better than a nice cold protein shake after a brutal leg sesh. Im talkin those big ones they make in the styrofoam cups.

Hmm… I always wondered why going for walks made recovery and soreness so much better afterwards… Sounds pretty cool what ya did there.

You either work out very softly or run very softly if you’re legitimately asking that question.

OR you’re some sort of wizard, I suppose.
Says who? I worked legs yesterday, worked them hard, puked while doing it, and went for a run right after, im sore today of course, but its not noticably worse then when i work legs and dont run afterwords
Really, you puked?
uhh, yes, it is so hard to believe that someone could puke on a leg day?
I just don’t believe you.

I have to take my dogs for a couple walks everyday anyway so I always do a walk post workout with them when I finish my shake.

I dont have any dogs, but maybe i can throw a leash on my cat. If u want to make it an epic walk, hop in a bath full of some epsom salt afterward. Holy shit. Recovery like a mo fo.
