Good lifting rug. Does the chiro think they can straighten you out? My back is very much like your description, several visits to the chiro later it was better, far from straight but better.

Sounds like you have a bit of a scoliosis. Most people develop them from childhood and they are not correctable (have been there structurally for a long time). However, it is possible that you could have a bulged disc causing a functional scoliosis, in which case rest and the appropriate treatment will alleviate the pain and “S” to a small degree. On a side note, there is absolutely ZERO evidence to prove that chiro’s can see “subluxations” on x-rays. Ask him if he practices evidence or philosophy based…trust me you dont want the philosophy chiro

He seems to be working his magic. I also am doing alot of traction in my inverse chair. I have it set to actually deadhang by my feet.

Full Squats for warmups…first in about 2 yrs and all at depth…It was quite painful initially. Had a difficult time with feet placement but it’ll come!!!

@rug…if you pause your video when you’re at the bottom…seems the low back is rounding a bit…I just joined this thread…but I read above that you’re currently seeing a chiropractor…what is the diagnosis for your current treatment?

Just a little misshaped through the spine. We are getting it back it order slowly but surely. I noticed my low back did round right at the bottom. I need to do more full squats now and work on loosening everything up. I have had a multitude of issues with different parts of my lower body. Sucks to be old and stubborn!!!

try not to walk it out so far if you dont have to… congrates on being able to do them again

Unfortunately that is the only rack that we have and for me to get to full depth, I think I have to be clear of the rails. To get the video I had to do them where you saw it. Maybe I’ll try inside the rails next time. I know doing front squats I hit the safety rail. We’ll have to see.
