Is it your entire back or just the lower part. I can really feel my MP’s in my lower back. I am going to add some lower back accesssory for it.
It’s the lower. The whole problem seems to stem from an issue with my patella? tendon. The one on the front of the thigh. I popped it last year and it isn’t getting better…just shorter. At least it feels that way. It’s pulling everything out of whack and being a moron, I just decided recently to stop screwing it up anymore and start trying to fix it. I’m thinking of getting it look at this fall.

Dont Wait till this fall.I fell in the same trap with my right shoulder.Where I just kept putting it off. Man dont let that happen to you.Id get it done as soon as possible.
They was’nt offerin no courses in American composting, huh? We’ll expect a whole new level of well composed and expressed ideas from someone getting and A in English Comp. Have to agree with the others. Best to get problems looked at asap before they cause other problems.
So I go back to work for a few weeks…Do my deload cuz work really messed up my schedule ;)…and in the process, I lost 9 f’n pounds. From 221 to 212. I feel like a waif!!! Oh well. Deload now over. Back at it tommorrow morning.
Bench 5’s
195x5
225x5
4x5@255 Wasn’t feelin a rep pr so I just did multiple sets. On a side note. DO NOT BENCH IN A TANK TOP WHEN YOU’RE SWEATY!!!. I just couldn’t get myself locked in. Kept sliding all over the bench!!!
Jeez that’s a bunch’o big milli’s.
Good bench too.
Nice work!
Thanks, OM. Just to clarify, though, my mils are done as singles with a 1 min rest between ala Steve Justin in “Rock, Iron, and Steel” ‘singles training.’

I thought that looked like a Justa rep scheme. Watch out for “going stale.” That particular scheme is for improving a single lift - that being the ONLY lift you do. If you have other lifts you’re doing he has you drop back anywhere from 10 sets daily to three sets daily depending on the volume.

I was thinking that as well. I may have to read the book again and see how to better fit it in to my 5/3/1, though for now it seems to be working okay. I’m going to evaluate my progress on my overhead in a week or two.

what’s the rational behind three overhead pressing movements in the same workout??
you are gett’n strong at them though regardless of rational.
Regular standing mils I do daily for singles. BTN presses are what I’m using in my 5/3/1 routine. That only happens on shoulder day. I’m in a hurry to get to 225 overhead so I don’t look so wimpy in the ‘Race’.
