Laterals and bentover laterals, dead hang chins…I’m starting to like these again, and some neck harness work.

Nice work, Rug. Off to the races!

And thanks for starting the thread.

Squating the day after stair running does not make for PRs. I do the same thing with sprints. But its great you’re getting the intense cardio in.

They seem to be getting thicker and harder (DUCK!!! flying inuendo), which what I wanted to achieve with the Krocs and Rack pulls. I’m much more stable now when I press. I’m thinking of adding in some walkouts or something isometric to help stablize my squats and overhead pressing. As for school, one more week then I’m done in English. An ‘a’ so far. Final grade will rest on research paper. Here’s hopin!!! Got myself, my two daughters, and two of their friends registered for school for the fall. I’m like the surrogate dad to alot of people. What’s up wit dat?

Funny you mention walkouts. Given my ailing lower back, I have been considering heavy walkouts as well. Just to get a heavy load on my body. I have also been considering some very high rack pulls, but the back will have to quit twinging before I go down that road.

An “A” in English. Very good. For a native speaker, I always found English one of the more difficult courses. I am not sure if it is because I am southern, or because English teachers are so often fruity snobs.

Maybe you are just a better dad than what they had/have at home? Or maybe you serve as the “responsibility” that they lack.

I must be doing something right. I even recieved a brief letter from my instructor and the Dean complimenting me on my hard work and class participation. Who da thunk.

Nice PR. Looking good. Dips are looking good as well.

Given your 2012 reference…I can think of several things that make 2012 significant. It looks like it could be a interesting year…of great potential or great calamity.
I just hope to hit my bench and military goals by then.

Nice job on the bench.

I did a half hour of rolling and mobility work before I even left for the gym. Seemed to loosen me up quite a bit. I have to keep at that.

Nice Job with everything. I noticed a few pages back your going to school. Going into IT?

I noticed LS said he had his Cisco certs. I’m wondering how many of us are welded to a desk all day. Might be why we go home and lift.

Welcome to the Dark Side…

Yep, RL is going to be a Cisco man. Definitely the dark side!

I started amassing Cisco certs back in 2000, on a whim. I am glad I did. When I got laid-off, in 2003, those certs got me in a job MUCH quicker.

Doing OHP as assistance on leg day? Cheater.

That I am, sir. Just started school this summer. So far, so good. I also aquired a bunch of Cisco books that I’m gonna peruse before I start my real classes in the winter. Fall is pre-req time.

Actually, I’m doing them everyday  I picked up a singles routine reading Rock, Iron, Steel. If I’m gonna get to 225 quickly, once a week ain’t gonna get it!!!
