Na I dont mate! I lean forward ever so slightly. I dont think I could do it completely upright. Thats maybe why Im so shit at them. Ive seen people on here say, that you should be able to shrug more than you deadlift… madness.
Woke up with real bad pains in my left elbow. Dunno what it is but im guessing it was from the benching and hang cleans. Went to gym with my mate, was gonna do squats but no squat rack… great. I just put him through a chest workout, and I did 5 supersets of pull ups and hanging leg raises.

Workout was good today, PR central! i wanted alot of volume. Im going back soon, so I can do my normal workouts again.
Shrugs felt good, didnt need straps, like I did the other day. Funny really, my forearms were really aching after using the straps the other day, I thought it weakened your grip!

I recorded last two sets. The first one was too dark in my eyes, but the second one was much better. Il put them both up.
Another thing, cleans really land hard on my clavicles. I dunno if this is something you get used to over time, if it is, it wont bother me. Just I was wondering is it supposed to land on the front of your shoulders and my technique is still out?
Didnt do anything yesterday. The cold/man flu took a terrible turn. Didnt eat much but stuffed down what i could.
Me and my girlfriend broke up as well, which is a help really cos nothings in my way now. I have to move back home permanently, which means I have to do the slap dash workouts whilst i get the funds to join the new bodybuilding gym.

I know what you mean there, my brothers been training for 20 odd years and he’s been on about how he needs to “get back into it” cause he’s dropped to 15stone from 17stone and he’s 5’8". I cant imagine what I’d look like in my avi 4 stone heavier lol
