Gavin Henson ‘taunted Jonny Wilkinson and clashed with Matt Henjak’
The nightclub incident which led to Gavin Henson’s suspension by Toulon was allegedly sparked by the Welshman’s criticism of team-mate Jonny Wilkinson, according to reports in the French press.

Gavin: “hey Jonny your a bit of a soft cock aren’t you?” Matt Henjak: “I am going to put my fist through your head”
Apparently the straw that broke the camels back when he was at Saracens, was when they lined the team up in training and got him to go down the line and name his team mates, and he managed about two of their names!

Every time I hear something about Henson, it makes me hate him just that little bit more.
im sure he cares about what an illiterate paddy thinks of him.

Nothing illiterate about his post. But then again, i am an illiterate englishman.

Gaven henson is the bachelor… how can you even call him a rugby player anymore?

Look at the original post of this thread. He describes himself as ‘byist’, that is why i describe him as illiterate.

Try minding your own business, wanker.

Gavin Henson is a far superior rugby player to any of Englands current inside centres, fact.

Well said. But I think hes much more talented than Spencer. Spencer belonged in a circus, and had no speed to back up his eye for a gap.
No speed? WTF?

Maybe you should take a little look at this
i only really remember spencer when he was at northampton, and he was a complete nugget of a player. His speed is something that never stood out to me. He is not in coopers league when it comes to speed.
Fair enough.

All I can say is that when he was in his prime he was keeping pace with Doug howlett.

If you now go on to claim that Dougie was also slow you will lose all credibility in this thread.
I know howlett is a speedster! But did spencer really ever keep up with him? I find that hard to believe…
O.K I give up…I even provided video evidence (which you probably didn’t watch) 2.12 and 2.40 that is him both times screaming along towards the line with everyone else trying to catch up.
I admit i didnt take much notice the first time of watching, im quite simple like that. But now youve pointed it out, i stand corrected.

I have no idea why his pace didnt stand out at northampton. Maybe cos he was getting on a bit then… mans got skills, thats for sure!

The way the french have taken to jonny is ridiculous! He was voted personality of the year over there. Beat off french legends like zidane and cantona. They love him. Its no surprise that it kicked off if someone insulted him!

Congratulations on finding one incorrect spelling amongst all my posts in this thread.

But seriously, you are a shit troll. No one thinks you’re funny, and no one will remember you on here, despite your best efforts.

Post all you like in this thread but I doubt I will acknowledge you at all after this message.

i kind of like jonny wilkinson…hes very good at one thing but is honest about it…kind of like the rugby david beckham but not as thick…he seems like a nice(but boring)bloke, the poor fucker has been injured for so long he deserves the success he gets at toulon

Gavin henson is a fag cunt who will be ruled out of the world cup with a fractured nail…would love to watch him get smashed by samoans for 80 mins though…

carlos spencer was a class act…

Probably a kid with a poster of henson up on his bedroom wall. How can anyone respect him, its the same as respecting danny cipriani. Chasing the limelight instead of glory

As if you can judge. You’re a loser who spends his time talking to other losers on tnation.

micks of the world unite…

a shower of illiterate, working class drunks…

let’s keep it civil now, I am more inclined to agree with rugggby,
henson and cipriani to an extent (hell put andy powell in there as well) put their rugby careers on the backburner as opposed to focusing on their game and have duly suffered.

I completely agree that Henson and Cipriani have not lived up to their potential (I wouldn’t put Powell in their league), however I don’t think that there is any denying that, on his day, Henson is the best and most complete inside centre in the world.

They are also a completely different team without Dan Carter so I’m sure he’ll be wrapped in cotton wool for the remainder of the tri nations games. Still do not know how Stephen Donald is second choice 10. He has been consistently crap when ever he’s been given a chance.

It all depends on their tight five and whether they turn up or not.
Stephen Donald is NOT second choice 10 mate, Aaron Cruden and Colin Slade are gearing up for that.

I think he is coming to play in your neck of the woods…I think it is Bath that has put in a bid for him?

I agree on Aussies tight five as they can be quite suspect. Our tight five need to make sure the Aussie tight 5 is going backwards all night which will mean Genia is too busy there to be able to break away. Minimise deep kicks to Cooper as well on defence then run Nonu then SBW at him all night. Cooper reminds me of Carlos Spencer – flashy, lots of skill, but a defensive liability and easily rattled and put off his game.
My bad. It always seems like he’s playing when Carter’s given a rest. Him coming on against Australia in the bledisloe cup completely turned the game on its head. What is your opinion of Nick Evans? He’s consistently been the best number 10 in the Guinness Prem for a number of seasons yet he’s still over looked. I know he’s playing over the other side of the world but a player of his calibre should definitely be given a chance IMO.

I’ve been following British Rugby for a few years and you rarely get big fights like those.

And I hate Stade Francais’ kit. It’s too pink.

God! Up to now I thought you were being ironic with all this Gavin Henson stuff, but you really mean it don’t you? Oh dear.

Gavin Henson hasn’t done anything of note on an International stage (or at club level for that matter) since that penalty to beat England 11-9 in Cardiff in 2 thousand and fucking 5!! and that was only significant because Wales hadn’t beaten England in 20 years or so.

I’m not a great fan of Cipriani either, but at least the guy is actually “playing” rugby.

And there’s no way Cipriani would be in England’s WC squad based on how he played during the Ireland game in the 6N in 2008. That is literally the equivalent of what Gatland has done.

You really shouldn’t be commenting on a rugby thread, you clearly know nothing about it.

Gavin Henson the best inside centre in the world?, Don’t make me laugh. Even if you mentioned that in a pub here in Wales they would laugh you out the door.

Hw was also an intrumental part of the Wales team that won the Grand Slam in 2008, he represented the British Lions in 2005, until recently he was Ospreys all time highest points scorer and he won the Celtic League and Cup with Ospreys…

Try getting your facts right, prick…

I argee on the kit - just plain weird, especially that art deco effort from a year or two ago haha

I try to watch the top 14, watched loads on ESPN last season, just didn’t enjoy that much - except for the fights

I’m not sure if I’d rate him as the best, but he definitely had a lot of the key elements needed to be a great 12. It’s just that in my books talent isn’t enough, it’s what you do with it that counts more!

sadly the top 14 is not as good as it used to be…from what i saw last season, there is alot more emphasis on boshing teams and kicking penalties than running rugby mirroring the aviva premiership…toulouse being the exception of course…
