Was I the only person impressed with 1) the way the Irish handled France, 2) the way the French moved in the loose, 3) that match as a whole was one of the best I have seen in a long time. Watching that match made me want to get back in shape to get another taste…My only hope is that England doesn’t win

England played like sh*t.
Italy had the worst midfield ever pitched in the six nations.
The scottish were never going to win against a mobile welsh. The do best in hard hitting matches that are won by the forwards.
Ireland did very well versus the French. Im a bit disappointed but overall, it was the best match of the weekend.
I see Ireland doing reasonably well but they won’t get the grand slam. For some reason they fail to “capitalize” when they’ve got momentum.
The Welsh will lose to the French.
I see this championship going to points. Again.
Missed the game, but fantastic to hear the news of beating the french. Looking forward to the game at the weekend, can hopefully put up some big points against Italy.

Gotta agree with that comment regarding not capitalising with momentum on our side.
However it’s usually France that seem to always stand in our way, and now that they have been beaten I would be fairly confident about our chances…the grand slam would be incredible…but never seem to quite get there.
Italy is looking sad. I think the US Eagles would have a shot at beating them, the way they played last week…ok, maybe not the Eagles.

Rooting for England all the way, I was quite impressed with the welsh in wales vs scottish game. Also thought it was hilariious 2 of the scots knocked themselves out in the first half…
Ireland will win all their games, apart from Wales in the Millenium Stadium

Forgive me but the All-Blacks are in my opinion the most over-rated team of any sport to ever exist.
Time and time again they make it to quarter-finals and semi-finals only to be beaten again…
They are technically fantastic but always seem to fuck it up in hte closing stages of a tourney…
Generally a fair point, but it was France that failed to convert when the going got tough this time. Ireland made the most of the scoring opportunities that came their way. We also managed to keep the Frenchies at bay when they were threatening our line at the end of the game (much unlike last year).
Maybe we’re seeing a “new Ireland”…
But probably not.

I will always root for the All-Blacks, but they do seem to get “over-confident” in the RWC. They crush everyone in their pool and forget how they got there once they make the quarter and semi’s.
I am torn between Ireland and Wales. It would be nice for Ireland to keep the momentum going, but I don’t see it happening. How many times was Ireland inside France’s 22m line and they would flub it up and lose territory? Too many.
The winner of the 6 Nations can claim to be the 4th best nation in the world. Or the 3rd, on a good day.

Especially two delibrate targeted dirty challenges. Irony is a bitch sometimes. I do think it was a bit harsh to card the second guy (the prop can’t remember his name). I reckon a penalty and the concussion are probably punishments enough.
BTW Wales to win the competition, but loose the Irish game. The Irish will mess up against the English or the Italians or someone rubbish like that
